Only 1 flag bearer per element though, you don't get 2 flag bearers for having 2 Plant Elders. But 10 Elders, one for each element, gets you 10 flag bearers.
There is also apparently a special wizard wandering round, after you get BOTH Bahamut and Tiamat, same thing, 20,000DC or a gem.
If you were part of last summer's Pentournament event, you had to pick a 'House' when the event started, Blazing Gale, Hidden Bolt, Mountain Sun, Icy Torrent and Iron Blossom. You got some free stuff when you did. I don't know if that will be relevant again. You can read about it here

With my level 20 Chrysalis and using Gaia I now have Starwing available to share. Anyone sharing a Chrysalis may want to feed it to the max that you can. I will be trying with everyone on my list for a Glowwing. Twins would be great! You hear that Koala fairies? TWINS!

Look for the wee dumpy Green Witch once a day, icon flag disappears when you've found all yr flag bearers ... Sometimes need to use X-ray (path edit) vision to find flag bearers ( and egggggggs) 😛

So, after over a year-long hiatus from DV (son's crazy senior year in high school + month long trip to Europe = no free time online), I jump in at the beginning of an event! Perfect timing! I'm trying to ignore Gaia (which I still haven't completed) and just concentrate on the Mythic dragons and the Event right now, but I keep getting distracted by all of the shiny "new" dragons that I need to acquire!
OK, I'm off to read through several threads and get caught up on what's happening...

How do you tell which monolith is 1, 2, 3 etc.? Is it based on the left-to-right sequence in Dragonarium? Or is it based on sequence we obtained them from the initial event? If it's the latter, I seriously cannot remember...
This is why my Monoliths (and Snowflakes) are named wonderfully exciting things like Un, Deux, Trois, Quatre...otherwise I would never know without looking them up.

Questing for Gaia pieces will get you eggs, so you might want to "casually" keep at it for Gaia right now too.

I plan to get one, but it will be the last prize I purchase if I have enough magic eggs, lol. Before the event started I only needed approx. 18 dragons...multitudes of pedestals, but only a few dragons. 😂 I am just curious to see what happens, lol.

I have two updates to my post: 1) I checked with my Facebook groups and so far 2 people have bought the mystery egg. One got a butterfly dragon, the other got an ovalith dragon. Neither mentioned if these were new for them, but I'm guessing they were. 2) the only two dragons that are available to breed are starwing and glowwing, but each other requires the other to be a parent along with chrysalis. The other dragons can be epic cloned via the CBC. For example, if you bred your monolith 6 with someone else's tulip, you could get a tulip.

I haven't seen as icon flag on my screen - is that like the border you see when you still have a hidden egg to collect? The border disappeared after I found the golden egg. I've looked for the Green witch, but if she's there, she's awfully good at hiding!

During the event only Starwing and Glowwing seem to be breedable. STARWING+CHRYSALIS=GLOWWING GLOWWING+CHRYSALIS=STARWING
As for any dragons you are missing from last years event, the DRAGONVALE BREEDING SANDBOX is still the best help in choosing breeding pairs.
