With the new month, comes a new installment of POTM. It works like this:
You find a post you like and you nominate it for Post of the Month. You do this by quoting the post and adding the comment "Post of the Month" or if you think you can't pull it off, simply "POTM". A Mod will move your POTM Reply to this thread. Conversely you can right click on the "Link to Post" at the bottom of each post and Copy Link Location. Then post in this thread with "Post of the Month" (or "POTM" if you think you can), right click in the thread and Paste. You cannot nominate your own post ... I mean c'mon ... that's just really lame ... no matter how cool/funny/clever/poignant you think you were. Each post can only be nominated once. The first person to do so gets the nod. On the 1st of next month (or thereabouts, I mean, we're all working folks here, well most of us) we'll make a Poll with all the nominated threads and everyone here will be invited to vote for their favorite thread. You'll have about a month to vote. So at the end of next month we'll have a winner, or more accurately, two, because the original poster AND the person who nominated them wins. What do you win? Gems of course. The mods will pay the winners.
So, to sum up. - Make good posts. - Nominate good posts. - Vote for posts. - Profit. - Have a laugh
So I'd been desperately trying to get a Ruby over the last couple of days, breeding for it on both the EBI and the normal cave. I'd lost quite a bit of time from being on holiday, but I'd not missed a Gemstone or Crystalline since Amethyst, and I didn't want to break my streak. But what did I manage to get instead? Four Rainbows, two Double Rainbows, an infinite number of hybrids I didn't need, and about -300 gems. I now have a total of zero gems, and have not opened the game since yesterday due to being so frustrated with it. Koalas, why do you hate me? haha truly anyone can be steelbluefire. All the excitement is over the fact that we discovered we can change how our names appear on the forum, and Señor Bones started the chain reaction of switching to my user name, then of course we started playing off the whole "I am Spartacus" gag ( en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spartacus_(film) , allthetropes.wikia.com/wiki/I_Am_Spartacus ). 😂😂😂

In the woods, it's dark, I don't have the properly paved path, apparently, and no crumbs to leave a trail. Yes, even my dragons are gaunt and starving: To regain airspace and food!! In fact, they're hallucinating now; grumbling something about ships and food-stealing wizards. BLUE, and thinking that I've STOLEN their FIRE. Consoling them, as best I can, for I'm no Gretel without Hansel😭 And it's "steel thunder" not fire, I assure them. ...But wait! Maybe there's a way out of all this disenchantment! Looks like not even Hidden Bolt is on track to get the community mystery egg. I wonder if BFS is going to fudge the numbers and be like "congrats, everyone totally did it", or just end the event on that low note.

Though the only thing they have produced for me recently was a twin Stoneshell.
