WOW! What changed in the Rift? Normally I can’t breed anything in there. Today, bred a Rifted Peridot and a Rifted Tourmaline! Going to try for my missing Amber now.

Can I breed it w something to try for a ped?
Or coop cave it only? Sorry, I should know this, but can’t recall, thanks for help 🌻

It is rift only, so no co-op.  I also seem to recall that it can't be parent bred - unless they've changed the rule.

Try using the same combo that you got the first one with.

When BFS first introduced the "Rift," i did not try to advance this area because I was annoyed at the idea of re-breeding all of my dragons.

But NOW, I am so grateful that I got over my annoyance with the "Rift" and maxed it out with habitats and dragon breeds.

Having 14 (I try not to go pas 5,000 E) or more chances to breed event dragons has made getting all of the new dragons MUCH more possible!

I was SO shortsignted, and now say: "THANK YOU, BFS, for the RIFT!"

Whoa 5000! Rift is new for me since coming back and I need to cap at 1500 because I don't have that much e. I've been having a heyday with two rainbows in there and the BEB though!

you can buy some limited eggs in the "rift market," but don't waste etherium on the rift gem dragons unless you just want that type of dragon, because they're NOT gem dragons in the rift- they only earn eterium!  Bummer

Buuut, check the E earning power of all the Rdragons you put into R habitats; some earn double or triple their level (check gem draggies for pleasant surprise 😊)

My level 10 Labradorite earns 15/hour, but so does my Spritely, and Oracle, and a number of other epics. I wonder if all the epics earn at the same rate of 15/hour.
Kiwichris, do you know of any other higher earning rift dragon than those, maybe i just have't looked cloesly enough??
I might have to check that out after this event (and hopefully game crashes) end....

I would say as a rule of thumb, that epics (purple border) and gemstones all earn more E than their level. It may be, that another cross check is that any R dragon you can’t feed up via BathMat will earn more...
i am a self confessed math doofus, so I have not crunched numbers

i wonder if the sandbox or other compendia of dragon earning rates might list E earning...👣👣👣👣👣

Epics on average earn 1.5 times the amount. There are a few levels where they only increase by 1 but then later increase by 2. A normal or rare earns 20E at level 20 and epics earn 30E at level 20 and 15E at level 10 for gemstones. A couple of glitches that I know of: Corrupticorn earns 1 more E per hour at level 16 than other epics. Most epics at level 16 earn 24E, Corrupticorn earns 25E. I don’t have any leveled past that so I am unsure if it maxes at more E. Quintessence earns epic rates but is only a rare dragon which makes it an excellent dragon to have multiples of in the rift because you can use the dice rolling dragons to level them up. 😊

HELP! My brain hurts from trying to figure out if I am wasting E breeding a Rifted twin Celerulean with another Rifted twin Celerulean to get a regular Rifted Celerulean. The Sandbox says it is possible but now I am wondering. Started putting together a list of all the regular Rifted I am missing and the list is long! Any insight is much appreciated!

Bummer at the wasted E Cyn. It is NOT possible. You can breed galaxy dragons now in other locations besides the coop cave but galaxy offspring will never happen.

Luckily I did not wastetoo much E before it dawned on me that I might have been trying for a unicorn. Thanks for answering! Now trying for a HarvestMoon Rift.

Luckily I did not wastetoo much E before it dawned on me that I might have been trying for a unicorn. Thanks for answering! Now trying for a HarvestMoon Rift.

This is a good idea actually. 
There should be a unicorn dragon for people who try impossible combinations. 
Something that breeds from something unbreedable, 
no how would that be possible, not sure how it would work.
