When I clicked on mine it said already opened. Guess that happened during the tutorial.

I didn't see anyone saying about that: The magic earned over maxing out is stocked into a common pot to get a new dragon for your house.

First Impressions

I am enjoying the graphics of this game and the new dragons look like they are going to be fun!  I am already at the limit for the days gathering 1150.😮

I noticed that with the rift fracturing the island that the wishing well was broken as well and with no mention of it (unless I missed that) I am assuming there is no wish.  So I wonder if the gift that each house gets from the Airship accumulation is to replace wishes.  Although I am sad that I don't think we will have a wish (BF epic tease there 😜).  We do get a new wish every hundred days and gifts daily and gift dragons quarterly (I think 🤔).

One Negative 😖
Speaking as a DV World player I can say I am very irritated to see the Airship show up here.  I detest it taking food which takes a long time to build up already and I'm a lvl 95 park, even harder I am sure for lower lvl parks. All I'm hearing at our house is grumbles over having to pay out food for next to no return.

Can someone clarify how the numbers on the magic we collected are calculated?
E.g., for the big block (which I assume is my total collected so far today) it says 726. Under it is a progress bar with my house emblem at the end. The number on the bar is 576. Now if I click on the Blazing Gale symbol on the end of the bar, the pop-up says "You've contributed 632 Magic towards earning a dragon for every member of your House".

Now 726, 576, 632... I don't know how they are calculated? And how do I track my daily max?

Interesting, the help menu says we will get 1000 dragoncash for each unspent magic after the event, so no more free food?

The progress bar is the one to watch, you collect 1000/day, the box is the total, including the 50 from the gift and the 100 from the tutorial, which don't count towards the daily 1000. I don't now how the house one is calculated yet..

that's similar to the Arcane Arena, where you just put dragons in and they earn event tokens, doesn't matter the level or how much DC they earn per minute, just need to match the elements.

So. Much. There's just so much content to respond to. No wishing well, no bsnking, awesome music and sky background, interesting dragons, weird tier set up....

I'll hafta devote more time to reply here after work. Wow. But I like most of this event. Interested to see the last tier of prizes, when I'm assuming we mend the rift and go back to the Faire...

I'm just bummed about no banking... I'm going on vacation during the event (at the end) and would like to dip into banked magic that week when I'm not really going to be able to max out. Grumble.

Seriously, I wish we can see the progress bar on all houses. It would be fun like watching a marathon competition

I missed that!  Thanks for bringing it up. 

I went hunting  and finally noticed the obvious.  The house button to the right side of my magic counter can be clicked on. Then a box comes out to let you know all magic collected (minus presentium and I'm assuming gifts). It counts the total magic I have collected for the day which is currently 1044 which will go toward the house dragon collection. My personal prize magic total shows as 1150.

I also found that magic I am still collecting shows up in the total for the House dragon collection. Every time I collect more magic if I click on the little house button the total has gone up.

Sorry I'm not good at pictures or I would post one to show you what I'm talking about 🙃

There is one click on the small round house button on the right side of our daily max magic counter green progress bar. Sheesh what a mouthful 🙄

A new box comes up with the House progress bar and tells you how much you have currently contributed.😁👍

EDIT: Darn it's only for the team you are on. Missed you were saying for all teams which would be Uber fun!!!

DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT stop gathering or doing things from the rift, Airship, collecting DC or just collecting food even though you reach your max for the day.

All that extra is not just disappearing into the rift never to be seen again!

All magic even above our max (excluding gifts and Presentium) are being contributed to a team total. To earn a dragon for ALL house members!!

There is also a tally bar to watch progress that can be accessed by clicking on your house button medallion or whatever you want to call it.
