Looks like the Rift isn't quite over, and we will end up getting a free primary elemental Rift dragon in a few days after the event ends. Plus, Noel DePlante is walking around your park, and gives a gem when you find him. Cool!
I just checked to see what items made it to the Wish List if you will. Gargantuan Island is NOT available but Lost and Olympus are. The Omnitat (sp) habitat IS available, as are the Light and Dark Rift Reward ones, in all 3 sizes so save your coins, buy the biggest one so you don't have to upgrade it. The Celestial Habitat is NOT available. NONE of the Rift Dragons are available, and I forgot to look at the House Dragons (sorry!). The relics of the Epics are both available, as is the Weather Station. And of course all of the usual stuff like the themes for islands etc is available. I didn't specifically look for the other decor items though so I'm not sure about those.
One note - in theory the event may not be over since the Rift is still sorta open and we can collect the 1 gift per day. Its possible some of the stuff will be on the wish list after the after-event party is over so to speak.

I can't help wondering if this 14 days of gifts plus the dragon at the end was thought up at the last second when the people at BFS saw how displeased we were with the event in general/not getting the pure Rift in the end.

you're right - since the event prize tiers are not completely closed, those items won't show up in the wish market yet.

I feel like this is true, since we are getting our choice of any primary rift element dragon at the end of the 14 days. Since I didn't buy metal rift, I'm pretty happy with this!
I don't think we are until either after the 3 days where we can collect magic from our social menu and can spend it on prizes, or after the 14 days of the Rift gate mini event. Only time will tell!

Thank god I bought the rift dragons since the tiers are locked. I'm buying pedestals now bc I don't want the headache of breeding. Btw Platinum for today's gift?!!! It just keeps on getting worse.
Considering I only have 3 of the elemental rift dragons (Plant, Fire, and Cold), I'm probably going to go with Dark or Light considering they are the most expensive. Anyone have recommendations?
