Kaleen, To tag you must be using ‘Reply’ not ‘Quick Reply’ as ‘Reply’ brings up a selections bar at the top of the post. Click on the icon with the @ symbol and the tiny human with the blue shirt. That brings up a box where you start to type in a members name and a list of possibles pops up for you to choose. Some screen names do not match up with our tag name so check the members list if you are having trouble. Example: For me do not type in Cyn, you have to use: vp.

I agree with dragonin here, and am also going to hold off opening mine for a while. Tumblethorn's requirements can be easily accommodated for in my Rift pedestal breeding, and if it's not too elusive I'd prefer to use the egg to move a step closer to Blue Fire.
Woot woot wooooopt ya made my early morning Arkynosluggage!!!! I'm gonna screenshot it to save it!!!! Thankyou!!! (delighted by such small things)
Yep me too, not going to open until I've hatched all the Riftie giftie eggs I've bought, just to increase odds for something good

Cyn, Thanks for the help! Think I got it now...I did not know about the Reply vs Quick Reply. And it took me forever to find the @ icon with the tiny human in a blue shirt LOL. Zooming is my friend Even found the smiley faces.

The community egg hatched into a Sunstruck in my iOS park and a Starshine in the Android park.
I haven't been playing the baby parks. I have 7 total. During events it feels more like work than fun to play all 7. Do the community eggs vary depending on when you hatch them? If you breed something you didn't have while the egg is in your gifts, does that lessen the chance of the egg hatching into that dragon?

It prefers to hatch into a dragon you don't have, can't hatch into the newest event dragons, and if you have one of every dragon in your park it will give you a dragon you don't have a twin of instead. I believe what it will hatch into is determined when you collect it, so holding it in the gift menu until I've got Tumblethorn will hopefully make it hatch into a twin I need.
If you breed something while it's in the gift menu it can still hatch into that dragon, but if you also hatch that dragon The gift egg should become something different.
At the end of Gardenia's gathering of roses, don't keep your unused roses... instead of letting BFS convert your remaining roses at a rate of 1000 DC per rose, you can:
Buy an iron blossom pedestal for 395 roses, then sell it for 1 000 000 DC (2531 DC per rose)
Buy a honeyglow pedestal for 830 roses, then sell it for 2 500 000 DC (3012 DC per rose)
Buy a surprise pedestal for 520 roses, then sell it for 1 750 000 DC (3365 DC per rose)
Unless I've missed something, the surprise pedestal has the best resale value at a rate of 3365 DC per rose! 👍
Please correct me if you find a pedestal with a better resale value... 😊

Woohoo! My prize egg was a Garland! I tried and tried for one during BEB with no success getting an untraited. Have to double check to be 100% sure, but I think that completes the Anniversary dragon collection in my main Park.🤗 It definitely makes up for the Sun egg of mystery I bought in the Rift the other day. Ugh.😄

You can't buy the Tumblethorn, you have to breed it. You can only buy the single elements in the market, or at times a mystery egg may be offered and you could get it that way. Tumblethorn shows in the dragonarium, Special, Rifts. Hope that helps. If I mistated anything someone please correct me.
Well, that is clearly wrong, because I did buy one from the market on one of my parks, and my friend bought one on one of her parks, but when she tried to buy one on her other park, it wasn’t available in the store, nor was it available on my other two parks. It seems rather strange that some parks could buy it from the store and others couldn’t.

Hi GladeMaid, Actually Kaleen is correct, at this point in Tumblethorn's vanishing act history in the Vale; it has appeared, disappeared (early release glitch) then reappeared for purchase for a brief time, and now is not in the market (someone opened the Rift gate for it...) but can be Rift bred.

Receiving a dragon you already have just stinks. Do you have all the twin dragons excluding new event dragons? I am wondering what criteria makes you receive a rifted version.
I am only missing Sweetheart. I have enough roses for it and 8500 saved for Satin dragon and pedestal coming up.
For the first time ever I have enough roses to be able to buy my last dragon and choose a twin on the last gift day. What should I choose? I am thinking Sweetheart since it has the longer epic fails. Advice?

It happened to me in the Jolly Jubilee.😕
I got a twin that I already had and grumbled irritably as I sold it. And I’m no where near to having Blue Fire.

Gidday Chris From one Kiwi to another, I embrace our Nation’s tolerance for everything and everyone, and my post was not intended to demean or offend anyone, and I apologise if it did. Kaleen asked to be corrected if mistaken, and that was all I meant to do. I thought I had already indicated that my friend and I were able to purchase Tumblethorn from the store, so Kaleen stating so positively that it was not possible surprised me.
I have been playing for over a year, love the game and come to the forum when I have questions, as it is usually a great source of information. I was puzzled that no one had mentioned Tumblethorn’s disappearing act, or seemed even to understand my question, so thank you for confirming it was an “early release glitch” from which my friend and I were able to benefit. We can now feel lucky instead of deprived. Chur Bro Glade
