Ugh - it seems to be a double roses weekend, but it wasn't turned on initially (presumably part of the same glitch where Satin didn't show up) and now I've done most of the high-earning daily tasks in my parks before it came on.

Thank you for this pairing I did finally get Satin in the rift but went up to the 20,000 E 😱
Wasn’t paying attention 🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

Just an FYI.  I put her in my Omnitat and levelled her up to 20 only to find that with all the element boosts she gives 1091/minute 😲.
I moved her to earth and her total was 496/min.

Just in case these help:
If you've got spare E in the Rift; try using it to level up some low level dragons; -> roses and park level increases 😜
Or if you've got spare DC, grow a few rounds of cheaper quicker food?

Well. That's the easiest dragon I ever bred!

Before I even logged on, someone bred a twin of it on my Co-Op Spritely so all I had to do was login and put the egg in my nursery

I didn't think I'd get Satin because my goal has always been to get Scorn and Spritely. Maybe Smitten too, if I could breed for it. But when they released Satin this morning I went ahead and bought it. It's just so pretty and delicate looking like a humming bird made from silk. I couldn't resist. 💜😊💜

I got Satin on my second try in the rift with Ash and Soot. Got my pedestal on the 4th try.

Input please on aura habitat...🤔
I checked this thread about what was discussed earlier regarding this but am confused (as usual😉) ...
The one in the market is still available for 150 gems but we also have one in the event we can buy w/roses ....
i thought the reason we purchase these available habitats in an event is because then they do not count against our habitat count ..
so, it would be a good idea to purchase w/roses if we have enuf?
Even tho we have to pay gems later to upgrade them to large we still have those slots that did not count toward our habitat limit ...
Is this correct? Have i forgotten some other impt fact?

Not sure if it has been mentioned but Satin is a mega DC earner!
At lvl 20 it earns 496 (over double what the highest hybrid earner was, current) and with all four boosts on that island it increases to 1091! 😱
I'm definitely putting it in an Omnitat with all 4 boosts, and now it'll be the new coliseum contender for plant (Bogberry with 3 boosts was "only" 975, and Nightbloom with 2 boosts was "only" 794), earth, fire, and lightning.
Wow, definitely a huge jump in earning capacity.

The habitat cap thing is pretty inconsistent and the Aura habitats count towards the cap. The upgraded form of the one buyable with Roses is the exact one that you can buy with gems, so there's little reason to get the Rose one unless you're very short of space or gems.

In general, the habitats that don't count towards the limit have the word 'Reward' in their name and mention the call in their description.

I don't think the aura habitats count towards the habitat cap. I think they are 'reward' habitats even though they don't state it in the description.

Welp, you're right, I completely got that wrong. Very sorry for supplying incorrect information. I thought it was something I'd read, but apparently it was just an assumption. And you know what they say about assuming. I've tried to update a list from a reddit post from magpac that contains the Reward habitats. Hopefully I didn't mess up another time.
(EDIT: I totally did. +1 snowflake, removed the distinction between small and large/giant rift habitats. Thanks to pedrosancheeze for cleaning up after me today. )

No wonder I haven't yet been able to breed the stoneheart dragon, I was still using the combo for the spritely dragon! (because of that, I have just bred a dream dragon 👍👍👍)

The koalas came to my park regarding Satin. I got the regular version at reset in the rift, the twin two hours later sent to me and the egg from putting both of those together. 😃

This event has been really good for me. I have been able to get all the dragons (bred 3 of them), two twins and will be able to get all the pedestals and decorations I want. My only wish would have been to have an aura theme and/or other themes along with eggs of mystery because I am actually going to have extra event currency this time. 😱

I said a couple of days ago that I wasn’t going to collect my Community egg until I got Tumblethorn. Then, of course, I couldn’t get Tumblethorn. But yesterday I got Tumblethorn as my daily reward egg, so I hatched my community egg. It was a twin Solar Eclipse, which I didn’t have. So that worked out well for me. Koalas to all!
