I don't think it's a nerf, it's just the standard luck with the game. I recall when the gemstone and crystal dragons were released, I would breed for them every day, hurrying short timers, etc and would often only get it with spending 100s of crystals on the final day or two. I had a month or two where I got lucky and got it in the first week, but that was a rare exception.

For co-op cloning, I've only ever been able to clone someone's dragon a couple of times during an event when I didn't own it myself. Most events, I would end up having to buy the dragon after a month of fails. It got to the point where I don't even try anymore. I buy one dragon myself and try to clone it in co-op with another of the same, to get x2 and an egg. Then repeat with the next. That way I save a bunch of event currency by not having to buy eggs or a second and I'm usually done by the end of the event.

Today I definitely collected some other things before I even spotted the Golden Egg, but received a rifted Twin (Or)Treat. I always mix up these two, so I don't remember which it was right now.

Btw. finally cloned off a non-rifted Hooded with my rifted one and the non-rifted of my second account in Coop. Second account also bred rifted Hooded today. Should have complained here much earlier.

Yeah maybe it is just fluke like everything else in this game.
Can hardly be right since some people aren`t getting anything.
Still nothing in my extra park.
I don`t know, I keep going back and forth regarding this theory. 
Find it a bit weird though that I only really started getting dragons as soon as I tried this.
Another dragon last reset, this time a Twin Snowy Silver.
They are really clogging up my nursery, nontheless welcome.
I am still gonna keep trying this, if there is some weird dragon magic 
going on in my park I am certainly not going to mess with it. 

This has been a welcome extra fun for me in a rather dull event.
Got Rift Hooded the same day as it came out and I have been trying 
for a normal one this whole time in all 3 caves.
Finally have it in my nursey now after hundreds of tries. 

Things aren`t exactly going great in the Rift either. 
I use the wishlist for all Rift dragons I need and 
that thing just keeps growing, 
getting kind of depressing. 

So I will take all extra fun where I can get it. 😸

Shanda2lee I completely understand. I gave up on my babypark and am contemplating walking away. When I no longer enjoy events and BFS makes breeding impossible, the game starts to become a burden. It defeats the point. I haven’t been able to breed a single event dragon, clone one that I bought or breed any of the dragons I’ve been trying for in the rift. It seems BFS has switched directions. My baby park is covered with eggs, breeding is easier and the golden egg is there daily. Clearly BFS is favoring parks that are on lower levels. koala and come back to pop in and say hello!

YIPPEE! Finally got a dragon from the Golden Egg and it was the first thing I clicked on. (Since I had six days in a row of not getting a dragon, not sure it matters.) It was a twin Verglace and I needed a twin Verglace pedestal. koala to all! 🐨🐨🐨

With all these complaints about breeding in the rift on the rift thread, it could be worse.

Breeding in the Burcadian Breeding Cave is a complete, utter, waste of time. I already figured it would be, but just to test it out I have been doing 4 breeds a day with Soot and Conifer on my alt account for the Cocoahollow dragon. That's using all my eggs, every day, to try to get one dragon. I did take a break and attempt the Rosebud, which I got after a day or two.

Every attempt for the Cocoa dragon has failed, enough tries to have bought the dragon three times and then some. I really just did this to see if it would be worth the tries in my main account, and it clearly is not. This cave needs to be removed in future events, or the odds greatly adjusted. If a dragon costs 6k eggs, I could see it being useful if it took 4-8k eggs to get it in the cave on average, taking your chances. But to have spent every egg on it, halfway through the event, with nothing to show is crazy. There are going to be players who got drawn in to it, like a gambling addiction, and will end up with nothing for the event.

Backflip should really be ashamed with how this cave works, and I don't want to see it returned.

I have a new golden egg theory.
I think you have a greater chance of getting a dragon
if your nursery isn`t full.
This would fit in my park.
No dragon yesterday, but now I had a free spot in the nursery
and I got a dragon.
Might be worth trying.

The Vernal Glass(es) have had pretty dubious availability since their release. One of them was a prize in a Summer event a few years ago, but other that that it's just been BeB and decorator weeks...

Hey one of my baby parks bred a new dragon in the rift (yolk?). It was listed in the limited prizes section only after it was bred. I do not remember getting notice of new limiteds though I found the monoliths were there and no notice of them either. None of my other parks showed the yolk dragon at all. Anyone else notice this?

Now, I have not kept track of and have no statistics on this, only my observations but it seems to me that BFS is giving us more Event Eggs in the Sundial of Surprises...a couple hundred every couple days...I dunno, it just seems like I’m getting more than in past Events 🧐

I just posted the breeding hints pic of him in the Rift thread (before I saw these posts). Seems like it was an accidental early release? Hopefully he'll be rereleased again in the next few days! He looks cool.
