I wonder...when I've sent emails to Backflip, I've only gotten answers from three different names: Mike, Craig, and Brandy. With the lions share being from Mike. I wonder how many people email them per day and how many people work in the email Support group...or is are these pseudonyms and there are really more people working there but they just use those three names...

Like everyone else, I got a response back about the doubles weekend glitch. But that was just my first issue, and they ignored the second. I just emailed them back:

"But are you aware with the bug on the cost of the Rosebud dragon, or the length of time it is available?

You can't save up enough to get this dragon, we will only earn 7150 by Monday morning (after doubles is fixed) when it goes away, but it costs 7660. Either is needs to be extended a few days, or the cost needs to be lowered. You've never released a dragon you couldn't buy in the given timeframe before so I hope this is another bug too!"

Keep that pressure on them over the Rosebud cost, and don't let it get lost in the doubles issue.

I sent a follow-up email asking about Rosebud's cost.  We'll see if they respond (I still haven't heard back about breeding the Hidden dragons in the rift)...my guess is they're just responding to the Doubles glitch with a standard form answer and anything else is being pushed to the side at this point.

I totally concur Quil, I have usually saved pennies and spent around $7+for that level of event currency, in every event, because I wanted to support BFS and this game  that has given me so much enjoyment
i have NEVER felt so inclined in playing DVW

I hope they read all this and rethink their 'fundamental attribution error' which cynmed so eloquently spelled out

Also, I just tried 4 breeds in my alt park for Rosebud. All 4 fails, 1k eggs gone. Not that big a deal for my alt, but I'm glad I didn't try it on my main.

I did the same and with the same results.  Not using any of my main park eggs...no telling what other surprises, pleasant or not, may come our way next, lol.

According to my calculations, assuming one hasn't spent any eggs yet, we'll be just over 500 eggs short for buying the limited.

So, IF you're an end-stage player and weren't going to need much in the market beyond the new dragons, and IF you're unwilling to spend real money to get the extra eggs, and IF they don't give us 500 eggs for the screw-up with the cap, THEN there's an argument that you could try up to 28 times to breed the Rosebud and be no worse off for it, because you weren't going to be able to use those 7000 eggs to buy the limited dragon at the end of the event anyway - they'd basically just be going for cash, and you're going to have to get Rosebud by some other means regardless.

Of course, they will undoubtedly be tracking usage of the Burcadian cave, so aside from the angry emails, the most effective thing to do is probably to boycott the cave altogether. If some people get angry but enough players fall into the gambling trap and spend money, BFS still comes out ahead (in the short-term, at least); if most people don't bite, then there's no incentive to do this again because they just made people mad AND they didn't make any money.

The sad thing is, I'm guessing those special eggs they sold back during the Winter event (3 for $4.99 with a decent chance of getting an event egg or three) were at least somewhat successful, because a whole lot of people here bought them, including myself, and we all had a good time with them - the risks were reasonable, and they weren't forced. This is a much more mean-spirited attempt to get people to spend. Come on, Backflip, you're better than this!

I always spend a bit of cash during each event to support BFS.
This time I did it early so I can help others get Rosebud.

I actually saved both the Backflip egg and the community egg from the last event in all four of my parks. Fair warning, though: I tried hatching one of them and got a twin rift halo. :/ I know in the past that mystery eggs have been able to give limited event dragons during the weekend they could be bred, because I got a Pond during its limited release from a mystery egg, and that was when they first introduced them and we were trying to figure out what they could give. As always, though, there are no guarantees.

I think I'll wait before opening the others....

The dayly limit is fixed !

Looks like BFS fixed the doubles cap issue. Check your park to see if you are able to start collecting past 1,000. I can in my parks.

The 1000 daily limit glitch is fixed. I was at my daily limit and now I am only half way. No fanfare, no message saying so I just noticed no swirling eggs around my count indicator.

Edit #2: It appears they are not giving us all the eggs that were collected over the limit. 😖😖😖 I should of stopped when the limit was hit but I am a little compulsive and a lot of my big egg earners are already done. Including hatching some eggs 😝😝

I'll have to find a way to grind out the last 1k eggs now, I finished most of the major things I do each day and my nursery is locked up until tomorrow.

I was holding out hope that they would give us some compensation for the issue, maybe enough gems to cover the 500 we need to buy the limited dragon. They've been really good about that in the past, another reason I've supported them so much. They also know how much we earn each day, it tracks it in game for the global mystery egg. Maybe they should have used that number to determine if you were over 1k for the day already.
