Well, BFS just HAD to start a new event the same week my daughter graduates from high school! I’m just now getting a chance to read through the thread and get the skinny on everything. I found one gold egg so far, and it was an Opulent. I’m glad to see these dragons are breedable, but I wish we could purchase them outright instead of just Mystery Eggs!

My gosh, I’ve missed so much as well. Have been having crazy family drama this past few weeks and I didn’t even know there was an event until the afternoon of. Then I didn’t even think of hatching first and couldn’t make up all the rings for the day. 🤦🏻♀️ I was s confused by only one prize area, especially when I saw a friend had a new dragon up. But now I’m all up to speed lol😊
I got regal from my first purchased egg and put it up in coop and then received a scarab from a friend! My golden egg gave me a twin regal and with my next egg purchase I received an opulent. For playing catch-up, I think I’m going pretty well. 😊 I didn’t get more than one golden egg though. Was that a mistake with bfs? I can’t believe Mr Bones found sooo many Golden’s 😳

Allllllright. Now that I'm over the learning curve (after my absence), I got Regal and Opulent from Golden Eggs. Now I'm gunning for Djinni and Scarab...
(That news about the Golden eggs was new to me. Almost missed the first day's!)

I bought an egg and got regal, yesterdays golden egg was regal and todays golden egg is regal. This is nonsense!
I know how you feel. I now have 3 Regals and one opulent. Trying for Scarab without success so far. I think that I won’t buy any more eggs of mystery and will just wait to reveal the full price of jinny and scarab. May have to buy them from the shop.

Your first few eggs have almost no chance of being a scarab or djinni, the odds are supposedly lowered even more for the first 3-5 opened. It's still not great odds afterwards, but there's a decent chance to get lucky if you open enough eggs.
I got lucky and cloned a scarab. Still no luck breeding a djinni in the rift. Odds are that these dragons will not be released for the event except through breeding and random eggs, so I've just been playing the lottery and hoping for a djinni to eventually show. There's nothing else to spend the event currency on unless a limited shows next weekend.

I already have two normal Regals and two Rifty Regals, so I thought that spending real money ($7.99) for enough rings to purchase another mystery egg would surely buy me something different? NO! Yet another Rifty Regal!
These are very beautiful dragons - rather peackockish, so I may just hatch them all and fill one of the dark rifty habitats with just Regals.

No one is sure, but I'm pretty certain. This is a short event, the 4 current dragons were datamined from the files prior to the event going live, with no other dragons in sight. I'm even doubting there will be a limited tier over next weekend, but if there is, it's likely a habitat or decoration similar to the last event. And that's the last weekend of the event.
I'm guessing we'll see more of these smaller events now, between the larger more standard ones.
Usually in the Help section of the event they mention limited prizes, but there isn't any mention of that. Neither is there any mention of prize tiers opening up like there normally is.

I’ve been able to play and max-out on all of my 10 parks each day, which I’m extremely happy with. If this is the way that events will be playable going forward, then I’ll be happy with this. Previously I could only max-out on 3 each day. I wasn’t able to take advantage of the egg glitch, so I’ve only received 1 egg per park, each day. On the first day I received 6 Regals (main park inclusive), 2 Oplulents, and 1 Scarab and Djinni. All regular. Today I received 4 Regals and 6 Opulents (main park inclusive). So far only two parks have received a double, and both of them were twins. I have only bred 1 of the 4 newbies in any of my parks, being a Rift Djinni in a baby park.
I am happy that I’ve got 2 of the 4 in my main, and have the remaining 2 in other parks, as I can breed them with my main park and will get them at some point. I have focused all breeding in all of my parks to attempt for Djinni in each cave, and Scarab in the co-op cave (really hoping for a twin!). I’ll see how it goes.
The RDjinni was bred with a RMagnetic and a RBubble, both incredibly at level 5!
Breeding Target: Ovalith. It's ALWAYS Ovalith! Hoarded gems as a safety net to ensure an Ovalith during BEB, but I'm not sure if I want to spend them: I think I want the thrill of breeding it! Gems wasted on speeding up Ovalith breeding/incubation: 2890

I bought another egg bc I didn’t get one yesterday. I got a scarab.
First egg Opulent Second egg Regal Today's egg Scrab! Now I need to worry about Djinni. (Gets another Double Rainbow after putting the desired combo for it) AAAAAHHHHHHHH

Query: in the interests of future planning- has anyone established (ie in park or hib cave, not just numbers of eggs)the entire set of an event dragon (normal, twin, ped, R, Rtwin, Rped) and THEN /STILL got another duplicate from either breeding, bazaar or Big Gold Egg? Hoping that this has NOT happened, in which case buying the peds from the bazaar might increase odds of breeding/bazaar/BGE all 4 event dragons.... Just being a Pollyanna here 😊

Golden eggs: Day 1 - Regal Day 2 - Scarab Day 3 - Opulent
Single purchased mystery egg yielded a Twin Regal. Breeding for Dijinni now.
Talk about Koala! This makes me so mad (happy for you, but mad at BFS). Not to whine but it’s really not fair that some players get regal as their mystery egg multiple times in addition to when they purchase an egg.
I did not have a mystery egg yesterday. I rebooted, used edit path and checked several times throughout the day. In order for me to see the chests, I collect from my habitats and then have to reboot my game. Once I reboot, the chests show up. Is anyone else having strange issues like this? I emailed BF but they insisted there was an egg and responded as if I’ve never played before by giving me the tip to use “edit path” 😂 Wow, thanks for the excellent advice!!
How are people getting multiple mystery eggs in their parks?

Day 3 update: Baby Park 1- Scarab (had Regal and TRegal) Baby Park 2- TScarab (had Opulent and Scarab) Main Park - TOpulent (Had Regal and Opulent)
Wishing my main park had the koala lol! Edit: Park 4- Regal Park 5- Opulent, bred RDjinni (Lodestone M + Kampos, both lvl 5) Park 6- TScarab (Scarab 1st day, Regal 2nd). Park 7- Regal (1st Day Opulent, 2nd TOpulent). Park 8- TOpulent (1st Opulent, 2nd Regal, bred RDjinni). Park 9- TRegal (1st Djinni, 2nd Regal) Park 10- TOpulent (1st Opulent, 2nd Regal).

Edit - Yay it didn't. Also dang, none of my neighbors have good dragons up for switching my nest over to djinni hunting. Fill in the blanks against one of the new dragons I guess? :-P
