This is a kind of off the subject question, but I recall reading that Apple was now requiring developers to disclose the odds of each item available in a loot box (Section 3.1.1: "Apps offering “loot boxes” or other mechanisms that provide randomized virtual items for purchase must disclose the odds of receiving each type of item to customers prior to purchase.). I noticed in a couple of other games that that they have recently started disclosing the actual odds (e.g., 25% of getting item A, 75% chance of getting item B). For the regular eggs, it says that there is an equal chance to get any dragon with that class (e.g., Rare or Epic), but with the new event eggs, it just says some dragons are rarer than others. I saw the odds posted earlier in this thread for breeding, but are those the same odds for the eggs? Is there somewhere in the game itself where a player could see these odds (without having to look at the code)? I'm wondering if Backflip is going to have to start disclosing the odds or are the mystery eggs not considered loot boxes?
I think for Apple it has to do with things you spend RL money on. These mystery eggs are bought with in game currency -- which the game gives you in the midst of playing.

I really want rift Scarab but if I buy more eggs, odds are high that I’ll just get more rift Regals so I wanted to breed for it.

There is no chance of getting a Rift Loot with rings. You can only get rift versions of MYSTERY eggs if you already have the twin of said dragon you are after. You could get it with an epic mystery egg on the rift side but it is a long shot.

Maybe then it has to do with how the various companies interpret the requirement and whether Apple takes notice or not...in a couple of other games I play, you can "buy" loot chests with in-game currency, which you either earn through playing the game or you can buy it with real money, and those display the odds. Even in this event, you can purchase the in-game currency (rings) with real money.

Found all the flag bearers and chests in my park, the purple frame has disappeared, restarted 4 times and NO golden egg for me today.
The golden eggs are only for doubles days, unfortunately, and doubles just ended as of reset today. The next doubles should start on Friday. Presumably it will only be the usual 3-day doubles, because there's no holiday weekend (unless our non-American friends have some obscure holiday to contribute? Any excuse for a party... )

All I have got from this event is a flock of regals and a horde of cyclops. All my event currency has bought is misfortune. At least I didn't wish for misfortune.
I am getting really disgusted, double day, special egg and another scarab. I have still no djini, and my hopes ar slowly vanishing. Buying a mystery egg ... another regal. I am not going to spend one dime on this event nor on future ones as too much is too much. Only solution will be to use a wish to grt that darn dragon. I have bought all the eggs I hadn t, ie mainly djini so that at least i will not have to fight for that.

Highly doubt we'll get one tomorrow or it would show in the timer. Maybe Saturday and then again Monday, every other day similar to the last event.
Two more mystery eggs, and no Djinni. At least I've picked it up in an alt park, so I can leave it up for breeding for the next year or so while I try to clone it.
Given the 6 percent chance to get an Djinni from an egg, it will take roughly 17 attempts on average to get one Djinni dragon. This is just an average for most people, many of you (and probably me) will not get one. Except there's a catch: The first 5 eggs had nearly 0 percent chance of being a Djinni, which raises the attempts to 22 before you'll get one, on average. I'm on egg 12. Not counting the first 5, and assuming a couple more double days, I might reach egg 16-17. Take 5 off for the first 5 chances that are nearly 0, and that's somewhere around a 70 percent chance to get one by the end. So 30 percent of us won't receive the dragon even though we maxed everything every day.
Odds are a little higher when you add in breeding, but I've had 0 luck with breeds so far and that's with close to 20 attempts in a park per day.

TwOpulent today for golden egg so not too unhappy.
Weird thing: I thought it was some kind of record the other day when in my baby park I had 5 instances of 2 chests in the same spot, then 1 instance of 3 chests in the same spot - all in the same session. Today I had 3 chests and the Golden Egg all in the same spot! 8-O Makes for a quicker go 'round...
