I still need snowflake, fireflight and dartwing. I only have enough tickets for two. Any thoughts on which two?
Snowflake 6 appears to be permanent, even if the breeding rate is the pits. The other two are limited but currently breedable... I'm not sure how long that will last though and suspect it may just be for today. If you can quickly breed one in the available time then Snowflake (+the one you didn't breed) would be the better choice to buy. If not, then breed it and get the other two.
Picking between Fireflight and Dartwing is harder. I'd take Dartwing myself, but that's just because I prefer how it looks. Might be worth checking what people have blue-hearted to see your cloning opportunities for each.
I presume dragons need to be trait-locked for the custom shaders to consistently work, so one had to be picked arbitrarily. Fire works as a surrogate Rainbow trait fairly well. Light might fit better but there's quite a few light-locked dragons already. It's not really thematically Fire-trait, so it didn't get put as a requirement. Also requiring 2 of the same Epic Rift dragon, and a specific trait would be a fairly mean combo. That's my thoughts at least.

Of my four parks, one got a regular Silver Snowy Olympus, one got a regular Fog (neither was twin or rifted), and two got nothing. Since a mystery egg giving me those dragons would have made them twin rifted, the weirdness is even weirder...

Someone on reddit just posted that they got it using a traited Rainbow with a traited Double Rainbow, so the breeding hint is incorrect and needs to be fixed.
Oh, I hope so! I've got the Double Rainbow! (After wasting 30000 Etherium trying to get another Rainbow, and that after releasing at least 2 Rainbow duplicates - grrr )

Can you get Twin Rift Dragons?
The mystery eggs in the Rift market give out Twin Rift-variant Dragons if you already have the normal(?) and non-rift twin versions of that dragon hatched somewhere. Our random gifts weren't following the mystery egg protocol, unfortunately.
The Rift Specials - everything in the Rift dragonarium category - can't be gotten as twins except via Shenanigans. (RotR event end gift, grandfathered Light/Dark twins, the now fixed Spore cloning exploit, maybe more...)

Can you get Twin Rift Dragons?
I'm currently at 79 rift twin dragons, and 99 rift twin dragon eggs. Most of them were received as gifts or from the rift mystery eggs. It's going to be a very long task for me to finish this set, but I need a long term goal.
I can't do anything as I keep getting kicked off. The entire event was slow and incredibly frustrating, but to get to the end and not be able to breed or buy anything that's left because they only give us 24 hours is nasty. I am trying to turn off everything i can, but THAT takes a long time, also. I literally fall asleep waiting for tha animations to go by. The fact that they won't stop these infernal, useless animations is proof that they don't care. I haven't been on here because I have nothing positive to add and all my dv time is used up waiting for tickets or BLT bagels to fly..stop....fly..stop.....fly...stop.......fly...stop.................fly. Earlier in the event, I tried to send BFS a support email and got kicked off for that, too! This may be my swan song. I'll miss you --you dragon-obsessed geeks.

Exactly how I feel at this point. And exactly what's been happening to me.
(Gather DC. Close device. Open other device and do things that use filters. If not, you get kicked out. YOU THINK I LOVE PLAYING DV ON A 4-INCH SCREEN?)

I couldn't get an Abraxas dragon. It was too expensive, so I got Dracabra instead.
But there's always a bright side to everything. And the bright side is that I wanted Dracabra last year and missed out on getting it, but I've got it now. 🙂 Dracabra is also the last one in my Spooky collection that I wanted to get, so my collection is complete until the next Halloween event.
There's also the fact that I got Dartwing and Midday, which is also good. So I'd have to say I did pretty good this time around.

The dragons look the same as twin dragons, yellow border. The eggs do look different, imagine the twin egg outline with the glowing of a rift egg. By collecting all 4 types of dragon eggs, my egg islands have grown to take over the gargantuan and 2 other islands.

I am just catching up with the game after a prolonged absence, and I had a lot of Regal dragons gifted to me. I see the difference between a normal egg, and the animation of the Rift egg. And I have a regal twin with Rift Lightning which is all flashing, compared to the normal Regal.
So there are now 4 versions of each dragon and pedestal. Over 1600 of each to collect if you wanted to display them all, not to mention each Rift version has 10 traits to be collected. I suppose you could have all the different traited types of a dragon on display, that would all have a different look.
I tried to get the exact number possible variants you can have. It's kind of complicated and I'm not sure I counted right. Anyone care to check my maths? 🤓

What are the 112 x 2 other dragons without Rift traits? I would have thought only the Primary elements would have been separate, but they would be accounted for by the Rift Primaries. I don't know if it's possible for a Rift Primary to have Traits other than it's original, but I would guess that breeding two Plant Rift Dragons, when the Fire element was active, could get you a Plant Rift with the Fire Trait.

That’s crazy.
Sadly, you can't use game center to add new players anymore. That went away because of Apple changes in ios 10, which disabled the add friend feature for all versions. I keep hoping Dragonvale will add a new friend feature built into the game, but until then the only options to add new players is Facebook. Friends already added to game center prior to the update still work.
