Sorry but I found what you said is extremely difficult to believe. I have been breeding the event dragons in all 3 normal breeding caves since beginning, and so far only managed to get the 2 limited dragon, after 200-300 gems spent on speeding up. No sight of the 2 unlimited dragons yet. To say that getting 4/5 event dragons with barely any gem spent is "moderate", or even "slightly good" luck is, IMO, completely untrue. Also, I'm not sure how you can claim to "use the rift to get rid of those long breeds". In my rift cave, I breed after 5000 E. It would take a whole day (if I'm lucky) to even get a rare hybrid like bluefire or trench. So aside from the first 2 bingo boards, I haven't had any board that I completed without using some gems. I am having 2 impossible boards with galaxy/treasure/dream/olympics back to back now. It would take at least 2 days on average to get even one such dragon. I also have collected about 30k magic so far, but that's after burning around 1k gems. I fail to see how you achieve better results with only 100 gems spent. Sure, you might have better planning or strategy, but I don't think the results should be so drastically different than mine.
I don't hate this event that much, since the dragons a breedable, so at least put some good use of my 9k gems. The magics I collected so far should allow me to purchase all new things (minus the pedestals), so the event isn't that bad in this regard. However, it is for sure one of the more frustrating event. The constant stress of breed-fails, for dragons I already had so many (like bluefire/silver/any "old" dragons) is ridiculous. When you just want an simple iceberg dragon but got 7 ice dragon and one water in a row, it sucked all the fun out. And the limited dragon is waaaay too expensive, so if you are unlucky and can't breed it, you will be far far behind.

When I'm saying moderate/slightly good I'm referring more to my magic count. I actually had 3/5 dragons when I made the post, but then got Totem and edited (Now I would consider it goodluck when it comes to breeding event dragons). But my magic count is nothing special, of course with horrible luck it's hard to achieve but I've gotten plenty of bad boards that I've made the most of through strategic breeding or worst case skipping if it's horrible. I don't know why you're doubting my total when it's not that impressive and many people I know have upwards of 50,000 as of right now. No offense but spending over 1K and only having 30,000 is pretty bad "strategic breeding" or you are having the worst luck of anyone in the game. You should re-evaluate your strategy or look at other totals out there before calling out someone like that.
PS. It also helps a hell of a lot when you have 2 of most dragons in rift form, odds go up greatly, more so than breeding sandboxes state IMO.

Breeding Dandilion & Light in Rift for a Sprite, I got a Rainbow which I needed for the Bingo Card. I now have a Platinum incubating for 2+ days for a needed Treasure but only 8 hours left on Bingo Card timer. My Kiairos could only knock that down to 30 hours...30 Gems for 30 Magic Points? I don’t think so... Kinda ridiculous when you get a Bingo Cards (my 2nd impossible to complete in a row) where the combined Breeding & Incubation time for every one of the 8 needed squares exceeds the the time on the Bingo Card! Not gonna waste Assets on these Bingo Cards
These Event Dragons are hard enough to get as it is...
I think portent78 should go out right now, this very minute, before he/she does anything else, and buy a Powerball Ticket 🤑

You are so right Chris. It’s really only a game and this point, the friendships I’ve made with this game mean a lot more to me than the game does.

Haha I think so. After some moderate luck, I bred both Oracle and Totem at the same time (2 different caves). Shows how your event can go from mediocre to great in an instance especially when the event dragons cost 15,000 each. They are crucial to breed IMO. Now I'm just focused on getting those traited Chrysalis twins the rest of the event!

Not posted for some time but just wanted to say that the donation boards are horrendous. After the first 3 that were easily filled, the last with some gems, I stopped focussing on getting magic from the boards and just tried to breed the dragons, mainly from the rift and co-op bc, filling donations as much as possible on doubles days. Was missing in 3 egg pedestals (abraxas, chromacorn and sandscale) when this event started but now have all current event dragons and just missing in Totem egg pedestal. I think I only collected over 20 K but under 25 K magic in total but I wasn’t focusing on buying the dragons so tended to use the rift or speed breed in the co-op (spent 200-300 gems, bred all but bought the 2 cheaper unlimiteds and bred for their pedestals). The odds for breeding these aren’t good but they are better than predicted by sandbox. I couldn’t breed abraxas, chromacorn nor sandscale during the BEB event but somehow with luck, managed them all during this event!

It is quite obvious you are referring your "moderate luck" to both magic collection AND event dragon breeding. Now you are taking back your word and admit you actually had goodluck in stead of moderate? So I wasn't wrong when I said I couldn't believe you. Then why are you accusing me of "calling you out"?

Kiwichris, my apology for replying portent78's post again. I simply can't keep quiet when someone is rudely accusing me of "calling someone out" when I wasn't wrong. Maybe I shouldn't reply his/her first post to begin with, but I just can't help. This event is extremely luck based (even the last day gift random!), so it creates a big gap between lucky and unlucky players. I simply found his/her post quite inconsiderate to basically tell other players "the event is good, if you don't enjoy it you must be doing it wrong".
Once again, apology of not adding kindness in this thread. I won't reply to him/her again. Promise
I haven’t been able to complete a board since Day 1 of the event. Still getting impossibly long Epics though I did get some Magic from some easier to breed selections on my last board. That being said I am having a bit of luck in my park breeding the new dragons though my Rift is uncooperative as usual and zero luck getting a Twin of any of these newbies.
I think I just got the timer for Sprite in the EBC using Level 20s DANDELION+WIND. As long as nothing else is 20:48:00, Sprite is in the park! I do hope BFS gives us a little time after this event before the next one. I wish they would start giving us the missing Golden Hybrids. Maybe Golden Hybrid Mondays every other week so we can look forward to it (excitement!), yet chill but feel like we’re getting somewhere with our collections.
This event makes it hard for me to maintain my avatar's sunny Party outlook on life. The first board was fine, then I got a couple where I just spent gems for the last card or two, then the boards became impossible. I gave up on them entirely when I couldn't get a Magnetic for all the Copper dragon fails and then the next board wanted Copper and I got 5 Magnetics in a row. It seems, across my 5 games, that I can either breed an event dragon in the rift OR in the park, but I can't breed the dragon in both places. Trying for rift Oracle in my main game since the dragon came out, going up through 5K or 10K every day and my rift is a barren wasteland. I like the event better when I ignore the cards entirely and I am trying to take the attitude that if I get ONE of each event dragon and don't worry about a rift version OR an egg, that's good enough. Glad to hear that I'm not the only one experiencing frustration. Koalas and party on to all!

Correct, maybe it wasn't clear to you but my main point was that with strategic breeding as well as getting that free magic (though visitor/ads) of course you can get a good amount of magic and make the most out of the event without splurging out on gems. Did I say everyones, gonna be at 30K without spending a ton of gems? No! You seem to think Moderate/slightly goodluck = average magic gain. Well you seem to have forgotten not everyone will be in my position of atleast 2 of every dragon with a maxed out rift. The resources one has should be accounted for before just assuming I'm talking about everyone. You simply ignored all of that and took the 4/5 dragons part as as point to attack me (even though I explained my editing rationale).
And yes you were calling me out. You are doing the very definition of calling out. I simply made a post to think of the event in a positive outlook and you out of no where are saying I am outright lying about my magic count and basically saying "it can't be possible because I had to spend X more gems to get that" Thats flawed and horrible reasoning. I have my opinion, you have yours. You shouldn't let your frustration with the event out on others, will not take you far in life.

I feel you. That's why I just decided to breed for the dragons. I've got enough hoard to gem myself out of this, but after 4 impossible cards (just think of the timeline to clone a Dream and add an Apocalypse), the fun is all gone.
Yeah, I know, the Rift. But after 6 Prometheums, I don't trust Sandbox anymore.

Sumi + Oracle does work for Sprite but not Eve since Eve requires Cold, Water, and Metal, none of which are covered by this combo. As of right now Surface Dragons only require certain elements to breed, no specific combos to do with other surface dragons.

They really need to give Ts'aishen a new and improved job. Once I collected 10,000 cheerios, the cheerio icon stayed on my screen until I finally updated, just to get my valuable screen space back. Not sure because I wasn't really paying attention, but I think he/she got even bigger! Oops think I posted this in the wrong place...sorry.

After reset I had to wait for an hour for my double rainbow to finish incubating so that I could use it on the card and thus only have one slot open, namely a Galaxy (not going to try for that one, i need the coop cave for other stuff). Whilst waiting i made a few tries in the rift for chromacron as I only have one and need an efpgg. And bang, got a rainbow. I Carefully kept that breeding open, not cashing or selling because in the meantime I know how mean these cards are. And bingo! I bought the galaxy 50 gems), completed the card, cashed a pile of tokens and got a new card including ... a rainbow! Yeah, that one was easy lol So if towards the end of the duration of a card you get some rare epic, keep it until the new card unfolds.

It’s official now: you can count me on the unlucky players’ team 🤣 Since the beginning of this event I was able to complete 2 boards, then all the next ones had several epics I couldn’ get in time... As I’m really lucky these days, no new 🐉 for me, all of them are successfully avoiding my park 😅😂 I hope I’ll manage to get a totem... thanks Mr Bones for telling us the elements for its breeding! So far I can’t tell if I like this event or not, as I find it particularly relaxing for me: fail, try again and fail, an so on... quite simple isn’t it? 🐨 🐨 🐨 to everyone
