Entire event is set up to deplete any resources you may have stockpiled I assume to get you to spend $ to replace them.

Totally agree w this; quite skilfully crafted to divest a player of all accumulated wealth, including the crumbs in the back of the bread box

Kiwichris, One card a day seems the way to go. Seems they set this up like the Airships where the more you give, the more they want. Going to focus on my redecorating and if this game continues to be a cascading avalanche of disappointment when I complete my park overhaul, I will just delete the app as I did with DV World.

You left off The cons:
- Getting boards with so many Epics it is impossible to clear them essentially giving you a timeout for days which includes double days which then become worthless. (I had multiple boards with Epics and probably should not have used resources to complete them. I still have 7 hours left on my 3-day sentence. It will be interesting to see what my next board is.)

Cyn, if you wanna try for a (relatively) short-term Galaxy, I've blue-hearted my Arcturian (and could really use a twin while the Eve breeding is takint its sweet time). I just don't know if we're Friends...

Two things:
Firstly THANKYOU drow for your sandbox and dragons sorted by elements; soooo hugely useful for cards where one breed can bring three possible goal dragons 😊
(NOW count the traffic 😈😈😈)

Secondly, tip; unless you HAVE to clear your breeding caves or the hatchery for time limited breeds, save for the next day's card... Got 2 today from that move 🐨🐨🐨

I'm going to keep saving and breeding because I don't expect the other limiteds to be cheaper.

Meantime, the "impossible" cards make me think it'd be a good strategy to figure out first the amount of magic we need and set that target for the next 20 days.

CONSPIRACY THEORY

The Wizards of the Vale soon began to notice that Events calculated to make their interest groups suffer were backfiring – firstly, because they weren’t raising sales THAT much and secondly because they were having to shell out tons of Dragon Treats. So, first, they devaluated Dragon Cash and nullified the power of the new-found banking system, and then they devised the Dragon Bond, little more than a Bingo card designed to deplete resources against chimeric promises of vanishing currency and tie up the time it took to generate them.

(Excuse me, bonds are an option. In point of fact, the Dragon Bond was a compulsory Bind.) (Wicked laughter there somewhere).

Meantime, a brave little forum in Cyberland dedicated to Draconian Aloha kept pooling their brains and resources to outwit the Wizards (see Jeremy Irons somewhere on a tower in there?) They knew they could not survive without Wizard Magic, but while a tribute was reasonable every now and then, certain magic was downright dastardly, like imposing a three-day ultimatum on a request for Apocalypses, Suns, Rainbows, Epics and Treasures plus (Rare Dragon of Choice).

What did you use to get him?

For Kaiju I tried elder Water + Dungeon (Fire + Dark + Water)

For Eve I used elder Cold + Eve (in coop), but Cold + Metal + Water should work

To add to Cyn s remark re the 4 token giving wizard, on the first double day, they came back after half a day for a second run und of earnings. That is no longer the case on the recent double day. Furthermore, i encountered the same glitch where one was missing in the count although the coloured edge of the icon was gone.
There is a new feature in the upgraded breeding island, i suddenly had a little green arrow which revealed that if i watch a vision i would get a time benefit on the breeding time. I unfortunately did not note how much time that covered.

I just did this for incubating eggs and found they reduced the incubating time by 15 minutes. I have dragons breeding in the epic breeding cave and don’t see an arrow for watching a vision.  

And I think the only way to get through this event is not to care. 😜

I saw that arrow in my breeding island yesterday for the first time. It took off 30 min which did not help with 19 hours left.

Thanks for the offer, freitag, but as usual my Co-Op is occupied by a really long unneeded fail. Not seeing you on my GCID list, I would show up as !!vp!!.

In better news, I was able to breed a Kaiju on my Island using Water+Dungeon. Still trying for the pedestal and having zero luck in the Rift. The card after my disaster one includes Gold Olympus, Dream, Sulfur, Hypnotic, and Candescent. Looks like another 3-day time out so I am just concentrating on trying to breed the new dragons and giving up on acquiring Magic to buy them.

Absolutely agree...they hate SOME of us, anyway! The only surface dragon I already had was Sumi, with 2 + a pedestal, so when I finally scraped together enough to buy a surface mystery egg, care to guess which of the 6 surface dragons it gave me?!?

I failed to finish the the third card because it requests a Halo and Zaffer, which I have a hard time breeding.

And now it gave me a 3 day-Epic card with no Galaxy element which was being saved in my gifts...
