I’ve heard mixed answers. But honestly, the timer is what, 2 days? That’s a long time to not do a single board. How bad is it?

Tonght I got a new card, i had not copleted br onze olympic and a galaxy .., well i found both again on the new card, plus some more easy to get. So, those you do not get seem to follow you ....

I didn't complete a card in the at least two days (feels like longer) allocated. Frostfluff was missing: has not shown up in the 1?2? Cards since (see, I'm losing track of this event already, feels like it's been going for weeks, then I check the daily gift thingie and go 'really?' ) So, hope springs eternal! and all that good stuff 🐨🐨🐨🐨🐨🐨

Even without crazy epics, I only swept my board the first time. I don’t have the time or resources to log on several times a day. I mean, I can get on three or four times a day, but even with limiting my Rift breeding to nothing but trying to sweep a cad, I’ve only been successful once.

Finally the Dragonvale Gods are smiling on me! Two days ago, I snagged my first Kaiiju in the CBC with my Elder Fire and a friend’s Kaiju - and it was a TWIN. Then I put my Twin Kaiju back in the CBC with a friend’s, and got a second regular one! This morning I did it one more time and got a third! I’ll actually have a regular, a Twin, and a pedestal! I’m sure I used up all of my luck for the entire event, though...

I got the specific Olympus dragon, the Sun and the Treasure, I'm getting the Dream just before expiry, still trying for the Rainbow, have probably got the Galaxy, but am out of breeding sites and time for the Apocalypse. They've practically held me back from other breeding.
... Fishing for a Nightmare dragon in the rift atm for the Dream slot on my current card and I get 4x water-typed Abyss. Go home, breeding cave, you're drunk. >-> lol
I don't know what to say really. I read here that doing one card a day is reasonable and is what one should strive for. I read that two days is a long time to go without completing a card. Meanwhile back at my park on day 7, I have yet to complete 3 cards and it looks like I'm not going to unless I use a ridiculous amount of gems and pay to complete it. And I've already used a ridiculous amount trying to breed for the dragons on this card, not to mention the e I've wasted. I have less than 3 hours left and if I don't pay the cost in gems to complete the card all the gems I've already wasted speed breeding will be for naught. I think I might actually hate this event. I don't know what's more depressing reading about how the goal should be one card a day or trying to fill one card a day and failing miserably while losing/wasting all my resources. I really need to just try to breed the event dragons and let the cards go. I feel the need to repeat, I might actually hate this event. It is compelling though. It is equally repelling and compelling.

Only my first few were 2 days, then the 3 day impossible ones descended. Eight days into this event and I have spent 6 of those in time-out limbo.
For those that have some level of luck, this event might be fun. I have yet to breed a single event dragon despite spending tons of gems, 200k in etherium, only completed 2 cards... and am nowhere on this event. This event might be what drives me to quit playing a game I have loved for years. I could not breed a swamp in 2 days... When everyone else opens their boxes for T'shian (sp) and I hear they got a piece - I literally opened my box one day and got 1 I repeat 1 essence cherio thing! Half the time my tolgar goes wonky... so struggling with somethning that should be fun! I have dealt with that because I know I am not lucky, but the way this event is structured, you have to have a certain amount of luck to get somewhere. It becomes depressing when you get absolutely nowhere and cannot earn enough to purchase items from the event

I get what you are saying. It isn't reasonable for all players to complete a board in a day. The boards our family have been getting are mostly 48 hour breeds of specific dragons and add incubation on top of that too, plus the fails. I finally opened what I thought was an easier card with cactus and thistle only to get ivy and ash with cactus + cactus and ivy and ash with thistle + thistle over and over. 🙄 It is out of control the gem and etherium sink BFS is going after. I am just NOT going to waste 200-400 gems to fill a board to get 500-1000 magic. Look at the cost of a surface habitat. It is almost 3000 magic. I bet after the event the habitat will be 75 gems. Think of how many boards you would need to complete to achieve that... Also I am upset that BFS is using the ad system for people to get magic and saying it is a guaranteed way to get magic. That is only true if ads actually work on your game. I do always get them on my game, but 3 out of our 4 games not working properly stinks. My family is not even logging in now. It makes me sad, but I don't blame them. I really wish they would use focus groups and/or surveys to ask and test what players would actually want in an event and normal gameplay. I miss the days where I looked forward to the events knowing I would get some dragons, a theme, some decorations, be able to play games and receive and CHOOSE gifts. Events were fun and something we looked forward to. Now every event is just designed to reduce resources. Not fun! I will not support that type of gameplay.

Ok, my third card (takes me the whole allocated time to complete one) and I have Galaxy, sun, Apoc, dream and Olympus...so doesn't seem linked to how many you complete in a day/time period, but more the actual number you complete at all... So I'll carry o n breeding for dragons I'm missing, and if fails happen to earn me some squares on whatever card is up, well and good So underwhelmed with this idea of an event; was momentarily excited with the challenges of finding multi-element result pairings, but that fun is dissipated with epics turning up in such numbers in one card... Sad 👿
