Has anyone been able to breed Omen or Nightbloom rifts this time around? I got Spirit rift on day one or two and besides the new Spooky limiteds nothing else...
This must have been a whine. I bred an Omen (Dark) a few hours after posting. 🐉❤️

Is anyone keeping a list to track whether an ornament is a night or day ornament? Only wrath ornament I need now is red...would rather not do any pointless gem/candy spending.
Anyone else experiencing a lack of gems as prizes in the races? I haven't seen any for four days, which is when I started tracking because I had a gut feeling I hadn't seen any in a while. Not just me not winning them, there aren't any in the prizes I miss either. It used to be there were always some gem prizes.
Another effect of having been foolish enough to use up a lot of my gems trying to win chests? I'm pursuing a no gem spending policy now, but still haven't seen any chests in the free games.

All ornaments drop from the day chests. All tendrils drop from the night chests. Orange, Green, Blue, Pink, and Black flames drop from the day chests. Red, Yellow, Teal, Purple, and White flames drop from the night chests.

I’m still getting gems in races, and I spent about 500 gems chasing chests for ornaments...🐨 they reappear for you...don’t forget the free daily one for a video in market and for video option at end of colosseum; you still getting those?
I have seen about 7 chests so far (not spending any gems trying for only a 99% chance at a chance to get one), also Whitbee gave me one, and have a total of 6 ornaments.
I'm just going to wait for BEB, buy the things (either with DC or I guess 5 Gems each) then convert the dragons the easy (non gambling) way.
I wish the Ghostly things weren't eating into the funds I want to use for a 2nd Chromacorn though.

This is probably not the answer you’re looking for but.... I figured it cost less candies to evolve a second dragon than to buy the pedestal, so I evolved a second Porcelain and Wrath, then bred those pedestals with the pairs. I don’t have spare Chromacorn to evolve a second Corrupticorn, so I may have to bite the bullet and buy that one.

That's exactly the answer I was looking for! I also evolved seconds of each instead of buying pedestals, so now at least I have hope I can breed the pairs for pedestals. Thanks so much!

Decisions, decisions...I just got my last needed Flame on a Dragon Drop BUT I only have 1 Chromacorn. I also just got reached 5610 Candies (at my Daily Limit) so I could get a needed Effigy of Frost. It’s really a dilemma, what do I spend my Candies on? The Effigy or save up to 10K and get another Chromacorn. Been trying to breed a Chromacorn since this event started. The odds on a Chromacorn w/Chroma & Mirage are .2. If I evolve the Chroma, I would then have to use Rainbow, DblRainbow and then the odds are cut in half, down to .1.
Does this Evolving continue after the Event ends? If it ends w/the Event, then who knows but I can still keep trying to breed the Chroma. I’m thinking “Get the Effigy”... Any advice welcome...

Do you all think another limited dragon (or other new item) has yet to be released?
Trying to decide if I should buy the last Effigy. Got the first two, have managed to breed the limiteds, and already have all the old dragons. I'm just scared if I spend today, a new 8000-candy something will turn up in the Shop on Monday. Ugh. But, if I am going to get the Cold Effigy, I should do it today so there is time to try and breed the hybrids for free. The coop has been giving me bupkis.
Also, the timer on the ghost dragons is 9+ days, but the event is over before then. Wonder what that means?

Do you have any Wishes saved up? I used a Wish on Chromacorn after failing to breed it the first time around, and despite the fact I swore I'd never use a Wish on a dragon. And I don't regret it. He's darn near impossible to breed from scratch. Other Wish-worthy items, like the Twilight Tower, the Treateries, the Gargantuan Island, and the Relics are usually offered for 10,000 event currency or less, so it's a pretty even trade-off. (Unless they have stopped offering those premium items in events? I don't see one this time, and can't remember if any were included in the last two events?)
Addition: about the ghostly dragons- a couple pages back, someone posted about a conversation they had with Support. Supposedly, the ghostly hybrids will be able to be bred after the event, but for an undisclosed (by support) amount of gems. The 9-day timer on those dragons in the event Shop has me a little nervous about exactly how long we'll be able to try for them with gems after the event.

Thank you for the info...much appreciated. Yes, I have 1 Wish left with another coming in 19 days. I used a Wish to get an Ortreat a couple years ago. The only reason I used it was because it was gonna be 2 months before BeB and then another year before it became available again. The Ortreat/Wish got me Burning for the first time ever and I’ve been Burning ever since. I sure as heck won’t be Burning after this Event...don’t know if I’ll ever be Burning again.

I’ve been finding that as well. It use to be I’d win gems at least once on the racetrack and I’d be gifted a few gems from my wandering people (and the tall guy every time as well). It rarely happens anymore.
Got the Auroch on 1st try in EBC with Level 20 Ironwrought & Level 17 Nether. Both were Metal & Earth.

Thanks for that combo (Ironwrought/Nether). It worked for me in the original un-upgraded breeding cave. I did feed my Nether dragon to 20 to match with my level 20 Ironwrought.
That's one I won't need to consider buying, and if I resist buying those wretched non-productive caskets I'll have enough currency to buy a non-rifted Chromacorn. I already have a rifty version.
So happy that I decided to ignore all the ghostly variations as if they just don't exist.
