I don't like the ghostly dragons missing from the dragonarium, I know they exist and it just means I can't track as easily if I'm missing a dragon. And you can't use the dragonarium to search for your existing ones to find them in the park.
You can evolve dragons for 100 gems. So if you wanted a second porcelain, wrath, etc it's 100 gems now. Same with ghostly cold/fire/earth.
I'm a bit surprised/confused by the disappearance of the Ghostly Hybrid dragons from the Dragonarium. The answer from Backflip's support seemed to indicate that the Ghostly Hybrids would still be breedable after the event ends. I wonder if this is a glitch and they'll show up back-up after the next update/patch?

The Whitbee's event decos are available in the wishing well now, one wish per deco.
Edited to add that if you use a wish to buy the one flippin' flame you're missing, you will still not be able to evolve your second Chromacorn dragon. So I wasted a wish on a glitch.

I really think my patience paid off with this event. I ended up receiving 25 out of the 30 decorations from the two gifts, whitbee and free games. I ended up buying a few chests from day and a few from the night section and ended up being able to evolve all three dragons. It was hard to wait it out, but I ended up with several hundred more gems than when the event started rather than lose them and didn’t hardly spend any event currency on chests.
I am still not a fan of this event or the ghostly dragons (although the last few made more sense). I think about 5 ghostly dragons should have been released at the start and you could just use the ghost in the combo to get them. I didn’t even have anything to breed for most of the event. I worked on pedestals, rift versions and twins. And then everything got added right before the event was ending. I just want to say...Fire, Earth, Cold, Lava and Obsidian ghostly dragons...ridiculous.

WTH?!?! I’m Burning again because all the Ghostlys have disappeared except for the 3 Elemental Ghostlys BUT, I still have the 2 Ghostlies which I was able to breed (Lava & Spectre). So what gives? Are the other Ghostlys available to breed? If so, how, since they have vanished from the Dragonairium?

I went into my dragonarium to find out how to get the next ornament and it said this item can only be obtained by upgrading. What on earth does that mean?
I am curious: does anyone know if the more blatant gambling aspects of the event would be subject to loot box regulations, and why or why not? Chests could be bought for real money (through gem purchases), with no guarantee you'd receive your wanted item in the chest. That is straight-up gambling, and sounds pretty dang loot-boxy to me.
I've been wondering for a while how the new gambling laws in certain countries could apply to these breeding games, in general. They are run on odds and probability algorithms and RNGs and you can pay real money for more chances. It's all basically pay-to-win a gambling game, which seems to be exactly the type of thing these regulations are designed to push back against or prevent.
DV is getting bad, but it's still not as bad as my other dragon game, which has gone waaay over the top in the last year. It's sad watching the decline of these games I have enjoyed playing for so long. I just want my fun, enjoyable, relaxing games back instead of feeling like I am getting pick-pocketed and used while having to work a surprise part-time job.

The Ghostly dragons are no longer limited, the hourglasses were removed on all but the three basic dragons.
Wish I knew that would happen before buying one more at the end, would have gotten an extra spooky habitat. At least we have something to breed on the 2-3 free days between events!

If you were unlucky enough to NOT get all of the pieces to evolve the dragons (even after spending over 10K of candy on summoning chests over the last two days of the event), is there any way of getting them? Is it still possible to evolve the dragons if you DO have all of them? I’m disappointed - I was only able to score a Porcelain. I never got the last Tendril that I needed to evolve one of my Loves, and I only have one Chromacorn. So, although I have a all of the Flames, I didn’t want to evolve my one and only Chromacorn.

If you do have all the pieces, you can evolve a dragon for 100 gems. The only way to get pieces you're missing is to use a wish, or to wait until BeB and see if they're for sale.
I know we're all decidedly not paying any attention to the ghostlies, but has anyone else noticed that BFS has changed their designs? Now the dragons and the eggs have some of their original colours, and the eggs have a green (spooky?) border and seem to be upside down...

Before long there will be just one long forever event, where they will just keep adding new content every few days. Maybe they will call it The Nantucket Sleighride Jamboree, for all the whales out there BFS is fishing for.
