The dragon to be evolved goes away....the items used to evolve seem to stay, but I have not tried evolving a second Bone to Porcelain, so not sure if they can be used again, tbh.

I'm guessing you need to just spend the 1000 candy to evolve a second, but if you do try it, let us know.
There is an error message you get on evolving that asks if you want to spend the 100 gems to evolve, while showing the candy below. I wonder if that means you can evolve dragons for 100 gems after the event is over.

FYI: Was confused with the BFS faqs which mentioned the Wheel of Chance (currently missing in my park)in the Ghoulish Game Gallery until I read further...
The Ghoulish Game Gallery contains two different mini games - Wheel of Chance and Dragon Drop. You'll get 5 free plays in the Ghoulish Game Gallery every 6 hours, up to a maximum of 20 plays per day. Adding my voice of gratitude to thank those who could decipher the bizarre event. Splendid how they locked us into that tutorial that just told us the parts nobody needed explaining, while the whole 'rituals' thing was mostly left untouched, as if deep down they were aware it was an unseemly abomination and didn't want us to pay it too much heed, in case we noticed too. I don't like the look of this event at all. As others have said, it seems like yet another 'deplete resources, spend more dough' sort of event, and I'd frankly just like a return to former days, when I had neighbours who hadn't quit during events that had the enjoyment sucked right out of them by the shrewd choices of a company focused on short-term financial gain rather than retaining players through a balance and respect. BFS (holding Baccalaureates in Fun-Snatching) have gathered up our precious koalas and are experimenting on them in a Laboratory of Evil. That is simply the truth. As for me...I am against koala experimentation. That is my official stance.

Also of note, the rumor is that selling duplicate ornaments will give you candy that doesn't count towards the cap (or maybe you need to be capped first). If someone confirms this, let us know!
This is true, I can confirm. I sold two duplicate porcelains and got 50 candies per ornament.

One of my GC friends has a dark-trait Porcelain in coop. Wonder if there’s any chance at all at cloning that dragon, and if so, what dragon would be good with it. I put my turtle dragon because water and plant are pretty innocuous, and got a 4-hour timer.

So far I’ve been trying for a second Chromacorn as I have 2 Bone and 2 Love dragons.
After spending many gems, I have 5 Ornaments of Porcelain, 4 Tendrils of Wrath, and 3 Flames of Corruption (had 3 duplicates). Good thing I had a decent stash of gems before this event (over 8100).
Now to wonder if other limited dragons will be thrown at us that only require candy....
