Can I breed a Chromacorn in the coop? Using my Chromacorn and someone else’s? Or since it is a Rift dragon it really really can only be bred in the Rift?
I am ignoring the gem depletion tactic and am focusing on getting the spooky rifts plus Omen rift that I need. I picked up a Spirit (cold) yesterday and will be going for the other two I am missing for the remainder of the event. Koala all. 🐨
No way am I converting the only Chromacorn that I just got as a daily log in even if I manage to get the right decorations. 😡
At the very least I will get a Chromacorn pedestal for 1000 event currency. 😜
Dittos! I got my 1 & only chromacorn by using a highly valued wish....Not trading in/transforming it!
In my alt game, I actually got a chest in the wheel game! Good thing I was sitting down. I got a red and a yellow flame, and a white tendril. In my main game, I got a red flame during the day. Thought I’d read that 5 flames are available during the day and 5 at night. Maybe what’s available changes from game to game, or maybe all flames are available either day or night?
Ok so i spent some gems to keep playing the dragon drop and eventually got all 10 color porcelain. I then found my Bone dragon, clicked on him and there was an “evolve” button. After hitting the evolve button, i then had to spend 1000 candies to congure up my new dragon. I used my Rifted Bone and now he is a cool plant rifted Porcelain Dragon.

Grats 🎃🤩 update: and thanks for the tip jenny , it worked for me too, for not very many gems (the price does not go up folks) and buying only in the ddrop game, I’ve now got all 10 colours (can’t remember if there are a different 10or more than 10, but seem to recall reading there are only 10 for all day dragon evolutions) so when I’ve saved enough candies I’ll evolve my first too 😃
also folks, you get a few nighttime flame colours during the day chests so, do not abandon hope, it seems that the 5 gem extensions in the game you are better in, is a better option than buying extra chests from the prize market... from my experience anyway 🐨🐨all

Chimneypuff is limited for 7 days and breedable - 23H. If anyone comes up with a successful combo of Air, Dark, please let us know so we can add it to the OP.
Dark Rift + Air Rift produced a non rift Chimneypuff in a family game. I tried the same combo, but my game is broken (or feels like it). 😫
Got the Chimneypuff in the Rift w/Level 20 Dark Rift & Level 17 Air Rift at E$1,000...thanks amos.

So I paid gems for a few more turns yesterday in the dragon drop game (and actually got one chest!). I have not seen any chests since in the "free" turns we are allowed every 6 hours. In either dragon drop or spin the wheel. So now I have to pay for even the chance to land on a chest? Once time that I paid gems, there was no chest (just a gem). I have been looking for Whitbee throughout the day, but he hasn't given any free chests, either. Are other people still getting chests during their "free" turns? Or did paying for more turns eliminate that option for me? I'm not very good at either game (I typically ignore these games during the events), so I don't feel like spending a lot of gems on them. I was hoping for some chests during the regular turns.
How in the heck is everyone getting so many pieces? Did you buy Candy to purchase Chests? I still stink at the games and end up with goose eggs 90% of the time. Am I missing something?

We’re spending 5 gems for one drop or one spin. The spin chances are super-low, so go for Porcelain with Dragon Drop first. I had gotten enough to Evolve the extra Bone dragon I bred in coop in my son’s game but forgot to change his trait from metal (my least favorite). Now if I want another trait, I’ll have to buy it

Yep, whether they’ve just got tough, or maybe only once a 24 hour day, none of my 6 hour free turn changes now contain chests... Maybe it’s because (as someone else wondered) I purchased additional ddrop and spins with gems, so they are punishing that expenditure just as they punish the in game purchasing by removing free watch ads for gems... dunno Wait and see if a new RL day brings another free chest in the free games... Way to take the small amount of fun away bfs, being coached by the Marquis de Sade at all?😈😈😈
and just to totally suck it dry of fun; am I right that the arena does not give any candy to my friends contributing dragon...tight! Scrooge it bfs! and therefore also, once I reach the daily limit there is no point in playing the arena? O deary deary me...
so the ‘I swear I am up to no good’ challenge is how to make this ‘event’ useful; yeah, use the Rift for breedable event draggies, and catch up on breeding missing spooky dragons, and if perchance we get a transformable, great ... wishing humoungous hairy hoardes of drop bears to one and all 🐨🐨🐨🐨🐨🐨🐨🐨🐨

Does anyone have a more reliable method in the wheel spin. I burned through almost 1000 gems and only got I think 10-15 chests total whereas the dragon drop I would hit 5 of 7 or 8 if i miss time it. On a positive note I recently got another bone rift and evolved it to the porcelain dragon and if memory serves I have it in co-op. I only need 1 more tendril to complete and 2 more flames, but I do agree I'm not changing my only chromacon. So I'm trying to breed another one. I got mine as the gift egg (that made me so happy) for my daily gift.
Without wasting gems on more Dragon Drops (doubt I will waste any on the Wheel as it is too random), I have only seen 1 Chest so far.
Hopefully the decos will be available in BEB for dragoncash, and then I can get the dragons then.
Managed to breed the ChimneyPuff in the Rift with Dark Rift + Air Rift (both level 20). Trying to breed another with Chromacorn and ChimneyPuff to get multiples of both.

whoops I know that BFS is mountain us time. But I can't seem to catch the day times for this event. Is it mountain time 12 am - 6 am and 6 pm to 12 pm? Or another interval.

I think that is right. With 2 level 20 dragons with the right elements in there, there was no thank you gift.

POTM for spilling the beans (not event beans, those are physically incapable of overflowing this 'event' as there are indubitably rings of infernal flames around the tops of our bean jars to incinerate any bounty we might have had and thus prevent any insidious 'bean-banking') on the true mentor of BFS. Good attitude, too; I'm thinking I just won't buy any extra chests and if I miss all the dragons, whatever--and if I get any, brill. Oh, and your lovely little line of alliteration was the cherry on top.
The best thing about this dreadful year in the Laboratory of Evil has been the many amusing posts of people on this forum using the wizardly art of humour to cope with the multiple disappointments there have been!

I start with when the event day begins in my time zone (1pm Eastern time) and count forward 6 hours from there. So for me, it’s 1pm, 7pm, 1am, 7am, and that’s been working like clockwork.
This ánd a first time occurence of "breeding for a limited event dragon and getting it at the first try" (Chimneypuff with Rift Air and Rift Dark in Rift Breeding cave; hang in there amos , koalas are on their way).... I'm really going to try not to let this transforming stuff (and letting go of pretty Chromacorns) get to me, because so far, October has been great!
Thank you for sending the koalas my way. I woke up this morning and put my elder air with the Chimneypuff coop dragon that the one family member bred yesterday and got a twin Chimneypuff! 🐉❤️
