What? Do you mean to tell me that all those times I wasn’t sure of what I should be breeding in the Rift I could have been getting my regular Snowflake and Monolith Rifties? This is exactly why I am CEO, CFO, and Head Janitor of the Utterly Rifted Club!

Has anyone bought the current Discount Special”? Does it contain ALL of the Hidden dragons, or just the ones you are missing, or only Aubergine? Thinking of splurging, but will be really disappointed if it only contains Aubergine.

I didn’t notice this til just now but I’m a ‘Hunka Hunka Burnin’ Love’ again! I bought their Hidden deal last night for 780 Gems and it got me the Aubergine I needed but I’m still short 6 Ghostlies. Ghostlies don’t count against your total if you have the regular Dragon??? If I look at the Dragonairium total it shows 473/479...🤔

I had all of the Hiddens BUT the Aubergine so, not knowing how/when it would be available again, I took the deal. I got only the Aubergine. But my guess is that it gives you all of the ones you don’t have.
Ohhh, I was just looking at the Splash Screen and I noticed one of the medallions on the Kringle side contains a sugarplum. Given that we know there will be a Sugarplum dragon, and there are 5 medallions on each side, I am guessing they represent the 5 Gift and Coal evolve dragons. Hmmm Plum Pudding Dragon, Eggnog or Hot Toddy dragon? Christmas Carol dragon? What is that other thing? The dark side is harder ... Gingerbread man dragon? Feather dragon? Yellow snowflake dragon? Any guesses anyone?

And putting 2 and 2 together: Extra 2 Ornamental habitats, and 5 new evolutions for Coal and Gift, meaning a complete decoration set of 'bad' and 'good' Ornamental dragons.
Only 5 gifts and 5 coals are needed for the 10 new dragons BUT I predict you will need it to reside with one of the old winter dragons while it’s snowing to evolve it.
Evolution is here to stay. It might be a programming way to decrease the size to extend old devices. Idk
PSA. You can buy two more ornamental habitats for gems now.
I was thinking it was a way to thwart the enormous number of 'unwanted' dragons during breeding. The more dragons they add, the harder it is to get the one you want. Plus, BeB gets sooooo hard with sooooo many fails!
I see evolution as a balance act: Keep breeding for stage one, add evolve for stage two so you get to add dragons without adding dragon fails *shrug*

Ive got them in one park, still trying for ghostlies in the other park. I am really hoping that rifteds won't be required, like it was for auburgine, because I only have singles in the rift and attempts to clone coal with one coal parent have not been successful...
In fact, if you want to have one each left in your oark after the event, you need 6 each,ie 7 if you also want to keep a twin. And just hope the ones needed are "plain" dragons, not rifted!

I have been trying for a coal in the rift using my one rifted coal and a rifted soot. According to the sandbox it should be possible, but like you I have not been successful. I have tried the entire time leading up to this event. I'm beginning to wonder if it's just not possible and I'm misunderstanding the rules. Come to think of it, I don't believe I've ever been successful trying for dragons in the rift this way. For example I have never been able to get a second chromacorn using my rifted chromacorn and one of the listed dragons in the sandbox. I'm waiting for beb and hoping that will make it possible to get one so I can evolve a corrupticorn.
I am also hoping very hard that we will be having a BEB this year. I am feeling a little bit of anxiety regarding this, especially since we did have one in July. So one never knows.
On a different note, I am still staring at my toy box gift wondering if I should open it.
So we have to collect items of many colours again. My gift boxes contained a black Flutter Fruit amd a teal Hot Choc Mug.
