Another thing I’m noticing with my limited play so far - I am getting pieces more often than not when doing magic tap. And much less often when doing name that egg. Can anyone confirm or notice a similar trend, or am I just lucky with my drops? Out of 10 drops, only had 2 without a piece. Only got 1 piece out of a similar number of name the eggs.
Another note: so far I have around 10 pieces, and no repeats, from the 5 gem chests. I did get one full outrider costume, and he’s available to purchase from the market now. Light, air, and metal dragon although I clearly don’t have close to enough magic to buy it.

And in the Parade arena, do we just select 5 dragons (I’m assuming higher level earns more magic) that fit the theme (in my park it’s Plant atm) then change them when the theme changes? Can’t find any Help answers on this, and there is no timer, so just keep watching? Maybe it changes daily...

I have my Prismatic Pantheon colors set Off except for Visitors, all the Elements & Basic...the way it was so that the pieces we were looking for would be colored against the colorless background...it worked well. For this event, with these settings, the Petrified Witches & Wizards are not colored. Anyone know what setting combination will color them while leaving all the other stuff black & white?
Don’t forget to collect the Altar of Alteration in your Gifts.
You’ll need the Altar of Alteration to apply Spellforms to your new dragons. If you don’t have a Spellform piece, click on it, and you can purchase a Spellform Energy Chest for 1,500 Magic. You will receive a random Spellform piece, but you are guaranteed a piece you do not own. You can also purchase Spellform Energy Chests in the Mighty section of the Bizarre Bazaar. So if you can’t/don’t want to spend gems for additional mini-game plays, this is an option (it’s very similar to how the Xmas event worked with the evolve dragons).
Of course, it’s probably best to buy the Spellform Energy Chests at the end of the event when you know how much spare Magic you have and to fill in the missing pieces you didn’t collect during the event.

I don’t believe there is a way to add colour to a black and white item. You can add and remove existing colour, but you can’t change the colour or add colours to colourless objects. Using the Edit Path mode and keeping the Vale in all colour is the best assistance we have for finding the wizard statues.
FYI: the setting to find the Elder flag bearers, Elminster, and special event visitors and items like eggs, treasure chests, stardust, etc is None + Visitors + all the elements + Epic (not Basic)

A little note about receiving a spellform piece, hopefully saves someone from a 30 second meltdown over wasted gems I won two pieces from the tap game and through they had disappeared forever!
The pieces do not directly go into the Alter of Alteration. They go into a the gifts menu, where you have to manually collect them, like the decorations from the Christmas event.
That made sense with the Christmas decorations, as you could literally use them to decorate your park. It doesn’t seem logical with these spell forms though, since they have to be in the Alter to use them.

I haven’t seen anything to collect.
In Low Resolution (to prevent crashes) those Witches & Wizards look like indistinguishable blobs of matter. Fortunately, I have Paths on all of my Islands which makes finding their Objects easier. alderist said they’re black & white...I just checked, they ARE Black, Brown & White.

There are some muted colours mixed in with the black and white. Regardless, new colour can’t be added to objects, so unfortunately there isn’t any way to make them pop with a black and white background.
According to BFS’s event page, the wizard statues only give Magic. There’s no opportunity for a Spellform piece. So if the statues are too much of a pain to find, and you can reach the currency cap without them, skip it and don’t waste time combing through your park. Because when you tap on the statues after hitting the daily cap, you don’t get anything. It doesn’t even go to the community prize pool. The last time this happened, BFS fixed it and you got DC. Maybe they’ll fix it and it’ll go to the community pool. But right now, you get zilch.

As with previous events, if you hit the daily event currency cap, you can watch visions (ads) for gems instead of Magic.

I stink at Magic Tap. Used my five free plays and not one Chest showed up. Spent 5 Gems only to have one Chest whizz by... I am too old for this. Spent 5 more Gems and tried Name That Egg (more my speed), opened 3 Chests which all had DragonCash. Not one Spellform piece today... at this rate and with my luck, it’s going to be a loooonnnnggggggg 42 days.

The Parade Arcade also seems to top out at 60 magic, so you need to collect often...
That said, it counts within the 1000 daily cap, so no real need to utilise it heavily.
Also, I noted my habitat collection maxed out for my daily progress despite still having ~1000 more to go. It did still give me communal magic, but not towards my own progress.
