the runic caves tune down to 1/4 of the breeding time and the daily Elenents on the Playlist tune down to 1/4 of the breeding time in all caves if you breed a dragon of the daily playlist in a runic cave it multiplies to 1/16 of the time

Does the 'Mystery Egg' rule apply to the eggs you claim from the RBCs?
Don't have dragon ---> You get the normal dragon Have normal ---> You get the twin Have normal, twin ---> You get the twin riftie
Because I was hoping I could take advantage of that to get the rift version of certain dragons that I haven't been able to breed/get in the Rift.

That is excellent. I have some twin, normal dragons that I don't have in the rift too, so good to know that I will get a riftie dragon rather than a normal, non-riftie.

Please pardon my dumb question but I noticed people get excited about twin dragons----why? The eggs I have chosen from the runestone caves all show as twins so I hoping that all of you who are much wiser at this game will in light me. Thanks 🐨

the runic caves tune down to 1/4 of the breeding time and the daily Elenents on the Playlist tune down to 1/4 of the breeding time in all caves if you breed a dragon of the daily playlist in a runic cave it multiplies to 1/16 of the time
Do you have to use all 3 elements on the Playlist when breeding to get the reduced time or will just one be enough for the reduction?

At least they're reduced time Rainbows instead of the plague of Auroras we seem to get during BEB.

On top of your head, which dragons would you pick if you didn't already have them in the Rift?
Pick dragons that have a locked combo that will not be an outcome during BEB, recent dragons that have lower odds (surface, enhanced, the new chrysalis (these are available all the time but they are really hard to get), evolved dragons or dragons you need to get rift evolved dragons (some of these can’t breed in RBC) and possibly some of the new moon & sun dragons that we can’t get in the rift right now.

You can check to see if you have bred an UNOWNED dragon by:
Going to the Social Tab, Invite Friends, Change Icon, Go to either Baby Dragons or Adult Dragons then look for the name of the new dragon. Then just exit out.

A locked combo is a restricted breeding pair. For example, Shield can only be bred with Hail + Hydra (amazing combo, kudos to BFS!). Dragons with locked combos won’t show up as fails with other breeding pairs. We’ll never accidentally breed Shield while it’s available during BEB, even if we have all its required elements covered in the breeding combo, because Shield demands specific parents. As a result, these dragons can be considered more difficult to breed.

After being unsuccessful in one park breeding Toco, I have managed to breed two Vibes already. Dusk with Thistle and Dawn with Ivy.
Yes! Vibe has been unusually accessible for a new event dragon. I bred one on the first try in the co-op and another on the second attempt in the Rift for a traited version. (For those interested, I used Dusk (level 18) + Thistle (level 18) in the Rift, and Plant elder in the co-op.) Of course, now I’ve used up all my koala for the year. Ah well, at least I got the Dragonarium breathing fire again for a little while.

Here's a screenshot from my Dragonarium. There's a shiny gold border around Ember because I have both normal+twin. No border around Heat because I only have the normal version. And the shiny blue border around Infrared is because I only have the twin. (I suspect I sold the normal one before I realised you're supposed to keep one of each).
Just to clarify this, the gold border always represents a twin. The blue border indicates the dragon is a rare hybrid. Ember is a regular hybrid, so no blue border, but has a gold one since you have a twin. Infrared is a rare, so it has the blue border, and you have a twin represented in the gold border. Since you don’t have a non-twin, the tab on the upper right corner is blue. If you had a regular and a twin it would be gold.
Edit: I don’t know if what I wrote makes sense (seems like I used the word 'border' an awful lot), but it’ll probably be clearer visually. Here’s a similar pic from my Dragonarium to show the difference with the golden upper right tab:

You should be able to start breeding Embossed on Friday. Here’s a list of the anniversary dragons and what to expect for the next five days:
The anniversary dragons are sticking around for almost three weeks, so hopefully that’s enough time for players to breed what they‘re missing in the Vale and the Rift.

Am I the only one who is too challenged to try to figure out what dragon is in the breeding cave just by the timer? It's not so bad in the co-op or normal caves at 1/4 time, but when you throw in the upgraded cave reduction and/or daily special elements, I throw in the towel. It has become a surprise to see whatever kind of egg comes out these days, maybe that was BFS's intention, to add an element of surprise back into the game.
And I don't think the "change icons peek" works with the runic cave breedings. I was happy to see a Vibe egg come out of a runic cave in one park, I haven't claimed it yet, it's still in Egg History, but the icon isn't showing up in my social/invite friends/change icons options. So I guess it's not officially in my park until I claim it.
So why is there an uncollected hidden tab? Are we supposed to get the uncollected hidden and shown lists to be the same (breed those specific dragons?)? I notice that if I breed something not on the list it does get added, but I don’t think that every currently breedable dragon is on the uncollected tab. Or am I just seeing hoops that Backflip is not making us jump through? I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop because this event has been so fun and attainable. You can even sit and crunch plant dragons for event cash if you choose.
