Haha, that's awesome - I usually have the sound off in all my games. Last night I hadn't opened DV in forever so it somehow got turned back on and my fiance asked me if I was having a dance party on my phone.

So if you have an egg in the nursery at reset whose breeding time was lowered because it was part of the previous element play list the breeding time goes back to the original time. At least I'm pretty sure cause I had an auroch dragon in my social that had an awesome breeding time and I popped in about an hour before reset and now it's back up to almost 18 hours. I wonder if it works in reverse if you just happen to have an egg in that is part of the new play lest.

A little note from the files:

The golden chests from extra game plays can have the following items -
1. Gold (weight 1000) 17.7%
2. Treats (weight 1000) 17.7%
3. Flowers (weight 2000) 35.5%
4. Gems 1 (weight 800) 14.2%
5. Runestones 1 (weight 15) 0.3%
6. Dragon Egg (weight 800) 14.2% - this has additional rules to stop after 3 eggs, if I'm reading it right
7. Costume - Dups allowed (weight 25) 0.4% - this appears to be one of the new costumes, not the last event ones

The weights are percentages. For example, you have a 15 in (1k+1k+2k+800+800+15+25 = 5640). That's a 1 in 376 chance of getting one from a chest. The costume isn't much better. Without name that egg, it's very difficult to land on a golden chest and you can end up wasting a large number of gems. Even if you could hit it every game, that's around a 500 gem cost to get a runestone. Or if you're like me and miss the chest 4 out of 5 tries, that's a 2500 gem cost. So not worth it, but I'll keep an eye on the odds and see if they change them later in the event.

From the BFS FAQs page:
All breeds in Runic Breeding Caves are reduced in time and can be sped up with Gems. Please note that the cost to speed up a breed will increase with each use.

I can attest to this as I sped a few up and now the Gem price has really jumped. Question is: What happens to Dragons mid-cycle being bred in the new caves when the cave timer deactivates? Does it complete the cycle and give you the dragon and you just can’t start a new breed? Or does it disappear the dragon since it did not finish in time before the deactivation in which case speedups would come in handy? Time will tell.

is there a daily reset to the increasing costs, or do they increase absolutely ?
if I speed up cave one, is cave two then costier the next time or is the increasement per cave ?

For Sailback you need 3 sun dragon Pedestals, 3 moon dragon Pedestals and 1 sunscorch dragon pedestal.

Cyn answered this a page or so back; at present there are limits on SOURCES of 🌺 but not on daily overall 🌺 you can collect, so sitting grinding plant x plant is good, and sandstorm x sandstorm if you want to occasionally walk away from the device in order to live the rest of your life 😈

Holy mother of pearl! I finally managed to breed a Sunscorch!!

I have been trying for Sunscorch for months, and I finally got him. Now to haul my spare water habitat out of storage, purchase a palm tree or two, and make a nice home for him when his egg hatches.

What's the best way to get the extra pedestals needed to unlock the new dragons? I have plenty of gems as I've been hoarding them for what seems like years.

If you have two rift versions breeding like + like in the rift would be the fastest and easiest way. Also remember to change the time of the day to day/night with the twilight tower depending on if you are going for sun/moon. If you have a bunch of gems you could buy the items not available in the event market for gems. If they are in the event market you usually can’t buy in the regular market.

I found rift breeding to be best. I happened to have 2 rift Suns and 2 rift Moons so was able to clone them in a day or 2 to get the other 2 pedestals I needed. Time is different in the rift, so you can clone a Sun even though the event is set to night time. You can only move 2 pedestals through the rift at a time, so either wait 2 hours and breed again, or be prepared to spend a few etherium to speed the pedestals through the rift gate.

Hi I would like some tech advice please. I downloaded Quil's handy Google spreadsheet to keep track of the dragons that I've bred in the event cave. Right now the spreadsheet is showing up as a tab on this site right next the Bright Wild Nights tab. Can someone tell if the data is saved elsewhere. I'm afraid that if I restart my computer this data will disappear. Thanks

Pulling twin social eggs out to hatch is an excellent way to add to your total 🌺 count. Use the daily element to your advantage by pulling out usually long breed times that are shortened for maximum gain.

For mystery reward eggs in your social menu selling them nets you flower 🌺 currency plus Gaia flowers 🌸 . If you have Gaia leveled already then release for flower currency plus 100e.

I would advise doing all the above on triple days/double days.

sorry dragonin, the time is the same in the rift, but if at least one of the parents is Sun, then you can get a Sun via cloning even at nighttime. that's how it worked for me.
And the last two pedestals don't have to be in the park. I had a sun and a moon pedestal waiting for the transfer into the park and the Monte dragon was available (before they arrived in the vale)
There's no need to rush anyway because it looks like the Monte and Sailback will be available the whole event.

On another note: I tested what happens when a rune cave deactivates while you have dragons in there. The breeding is finished and you get all flowers for the egg (and the egg is added to your egg history) . So it might be a good thing to put in long breeds shortly before a cave gets deactivated.

Bummer as we go to a doubles day: I had a message in the 3 games I’ve played since reset that I could activate a bonus cave for a week with 1 dragoncash. So of course I clicked yes, and got a message that it would be good for one week, and then when I clicked “OK”.... nothing. The cave wasn’t activated for 1 dragoncash. Backflip, it isn’t April Fool’s Day, and that wasn’t a very funny joke.

Also, the time is no longer reduced for the eggs in my twin menu that have the featured elements of the day. This is sad, it was lovely to move out my Seasonal twins quickly, and I was looking forward to moving out Moons too. The time also doesn’t appear to me to be sped up in Gaia’s nest beyond the amount appropriate for Gaia’s level.

I received the same message about activating the runic cave with dragoncash, and nothing happened on my end either. But I don't think it's a joke. I think it's a bug or a programming glitch, where someone meant to put rune stone instead of dragoncash and accidentally messed up.

Or maybe we were supposed to have the option to spend cash at one point in time, and they removed it but didn't fix the graphics/message. 🤔
