You can get twins and rifts of any of the enhanced dragons in the Runic Cave IF you have at least one already. I already have Darcowl, Riptide, Armament, Psyche, Fury and Bastion twins waiting for claims. 😍

Hah! That’s funny, because I also had a slight awkward moment with the month/day/year format. But seeing as how I’m an iOS user (who posts extensively about the DV iOS crashes — sorry about that) and the Android device wasn’t mine, it seemed a bit invasive and rude to change someone’s phone settings to day/month/year for the sake of a screenshot. 😆
Had I known others would take issue, maybe I would’ve had the gall to mess with their settings. Although probably not, because while it’s noticeable, it doesn’t bother me (day/month, month/day = po-tato, pota-to). Superb! I suspect the Spellform dragons will trickle out during this event when their elements hit the playlist (hopefully) to continue the tradition of event dragons returning within a month of their event ending.

I don't mind the short break between events, I just hope they don't cut Whitbee's Candy Bash short because of how long this event runs. The Halloween event is my favorite.
Isn't their anniversary coming up soon? Maybe they will release that dragon (has it been 8 years already!?) during this event...I have not spent any flowers yet. My suspicious side is telling me that the overlords may have something up their sleeves since they have been so generous in letting us accumulate flowers without limits. O_o
Yes, I completely agree with you! DV’s anniversary is in September, so this event will definitely run through it... unless BFS gets too caught up in the event and forgets like they did with the 500th dragon. 😑

ANY dragon can be bred in the rune caves if you have two. Regardless of if they are limited or not. Already have twinkle, dazzling and Violeta bred. Try to pick the hardest ten to breed. Unfortunately I only have one of a lot of the ones I need twins of.

The event is currently set to a night theme, Dusk. If you change it with the Twilight Tower because Sun is a playlist element and breeding Sun dragons makes complete sense, every time you leave the game or switch parks, the theme reverts back to Dusk. Remember to change the theme to a daytime version before you breed in the Runic Caves.
The reverting theme issue has been fixed!
You can now set the Twilight Tower to whatever theme you desire and it will not return to the event’s selected theme when you reopen the game or switch parks.

What are other people getting in the "Dragon Dance Floor"? I keep getting really small numbers of flowers--10, 20--even thought I feel I have all three elements represented with high-level dragons.

You only need one for the Runic caves to get twin or rifts unless they are dragons that had to be evolved, are galaxy dragons or rift exclusives. I already have several twin claims waiting where I only had one at the time. Riptide (used Water elder), Bastion (used Elder Light), Darcowl (used Elder Dark). It only took a couple of tries each for me.

Looks like Tolzar’s generosity is back to ‘stingy’. We’re now back to 50 🌸 and NO Gems. I’m guessing BFS forgot to reset it when the previous Event ended and just recently discovered their oversight...sometimes their mistakes help us 😀

When we were having triple flower days, I was getting thirty. Twenty for doubles, and now I'm down to just ten flowers as my prize at the end of the dance competition. But every bit helps, so I'm gonna make 'em dance their little feet off.

I wonder if making it breedable was another BFS mistake and they've gleefully taken it away from us again. Has anyone tried breeding one today? I have a pretty good store of E to work with, but I also don't really want to waste it trying to breed a dragon that can't be bred!

It is now showing unavailable to me as well. I got the rifted version yesterday, another family member got a rifted version yesterday and just this morning before reset a different family game got a non rifted Darcowl. I guess something changed at reset.
Grrrr went all day NOT trying for darcowl, and used up all my rift chances, and now I get home to see that it's now available. Can’t count on anything in this game anymore except that you can’t count on anything. LOL
Darcowl is showing as available in my game right now. It was unavailable several hours ago, but it’s back now.
In the market, Darcowl is for sale by itself or with its getups, and it has a blue hourglass.
In the Dragonarium it has the green hourglass.
PSA: if anyone is trying to breed Darcowl, they’ll probably come across many Chitins. I posted a bug for Chitin in the Updates thread. Basically, be sure to hatch Chitin before selling to receive its full price. Otherwise, the game will give you pennies.
