Bit of bad news. The last day of the event has been withheld again. Reddit has the last day as November 27th (27th November), so the event store closes on November 29th (?). Thanksgiving is on November 28th, so unless we’re skipping Om of Noms this year... this event may overlap with Om of Noms, or maybe combine into one festive feast (???).
Regarding a daily limit on Candy, there is a limit of five donation cards per day, which essentially implements a daily currency cap, since that’s the largest source of Candy. Unless, of course, you’re going to Plant dragon it.
Edit: I checked the Play Store and it’s not showing a last day for this event. So I’m not sure where Reddit received this info (I sent an inquiry and will update when I hear back). This event could very well end weeks before Thanksgiving. All of this could be so easily avoided if BFS would simply post the end date.
Edit #2: I heard back from the Reddit mod regarding the source of the November 27th date: 'apparently it was found within data, but if not it should show up on the android page a couple days later.'
It sounds like the end date was found in the files. I’ll recheck the Play Store later in the week to see if it shows up. I know the mod is careful and would not purposefully post questionable or incorrect information.
As the event winds down, I can again ask BFS to confirm the dates, but it seems so unnecessary when they could easily put the deadlines and dates in the game.

The power gods have smiled on me and I have electricity again after days without it... at least for now! Off to check out the event but first want to thank Arkynos and all of the staff for handling the surprise one day off between events so deftly!
Thanks everyone for the event update! After playing this game since the beginning, I finally had a red fire breathing Dragonarium after the last event. It lasted all of one day. It was very exciting. Onward to the next challenge! What are people breeding for during this event - especially those who have most/all of the dragons? I'm thinking I'll just breed to get a second dragon of those I already have one of...
Event seems pretty lackluster compared to last years event and even the last few events we've had so far. I'm sure they will find a way to spice it up. I'm not gonna lie, I do like evolution's/enhancements as they add another element of collection in other words there's more to do. Maybe we'll get more ghostlies, Lightning Effigy anyone...
I hate the bingo cards. So looks like a stellar boring event again. Doubt I will earn enough to catch up on the old evolution packs, and may not earn enough to get anything new either.

I've played for quite some time, too, and just transitioned from Apple iOS & Game Center, so I'm on Android and its nearly impossible to read everything on new UI, android, let alone choose correct forum.
