Jolly Jubilee 2019 was splendid and festive, and the perfect farewell from Backflip. Thank you Backflip for eight years of dragon goodness!
Extremely grateful the strolling polar bear returned this season. Nobody brings adorable spirited cheer like the red-scarfed holiday bear. There is so much to miss. Good night, Backflip.

Thank you adlerist so few words but says so much. There is really so much to be missed. May all of Backflip find only good things ahead.
Such a fabulous, fun, gorgeous game! Hoping so much that we will not have to do without it! Many many thanks & good wishes to the talented and creative people that gave us such wonderful dragons!😘💕

I wholeheartedly agree with both of you.
(Also, a bit off-topic, but I’m always happy when you post, ilovdragons, because it gives us another chance to see your marvellous doggy!)

This event went well, very well indeed. 😊
I was able to obtain Candlecrown (he's a big boy! Even as an adolescenct he takes up so much space in the habitat) and had enough leftover for a Lace dragon.
I sincerely hope this will not be the end of DV. But if it has to end, at least we had a good time during the Jolly Jubilee.
We share our physical lives with those in spirit. For life, like love, never dies. Love knows no limits, not even death.

Congrats on Candlecrown! He’s quite the figure skater.
We don’t know if it’s the end of DV, but it’s most certainly the end of BFS, and that’s what my post was in reference to. Technically, BFS ended in October, but this Xmas event is credited to them. BFS developed events about six months in advance. By the time their closure was announced and layoffs took place in late October, the Xmas event was likely in its final phase. Jolly Jubilee did look and breathe like a BFS event. If there are new owners, I doubt they could’ve pulled together a new event with content in 45 days. Now that Xmas is over, and DV is still standing, it does look like DV has some legs and some life without BFS. We shall see. We don’t know what will become of DragonVale.
But we do know this was Backflip’s swan song. And it was smashing.
