I don't know why some of the decorations in the event market, selling for iceberries, are also available in the regular market for DC. Even though it's BEB, I would have thought they'd be excluded.

I managed to breed a Yule second breed in the rift. I've never bred a new dragon that quickly before. I have levelled him up and 💙 him for my friends.
I'm having more luck breeding the new limited dragons than I am with the 'old' winter dragons that I have been trying for in the Rift - Lace, Ribbon, Candlecrown, Jingle etc.

Breeding combo: Mountain Sun + ornamental element
Breeding/Incubation time: 30 hours
Tip: the naughty evolve ornamental dragons (Avarice, Burglehoo, Gulletail, Jadice, Lokilure) all share the earth element with Mountain Sun and cannot be a breeding fail.
Gotta spend the Iceberries before they melt. Level 20 Yule in the co-op. Let the Yule log burn bright all season long and bring on the koala!
(As Quil and amos pointed out earlier, all the new House Ornamental dragons only contain their house elements (no hidden ornamental elements), so clone with the house elements only.)

Should the Nice and Naughty ornamental dragons only contribute the elements they are showing? ie Nice = Plant, Cold & Fire and Naughty = Earth, Cold and Fire?
The sandbox has other elements also as an outcome with the Naughty Ornamental dragons.
Avarice also includes Plant Burglehoo also includes Plant Gulletail also includes Metal and Lightning Jadice also includes Water and Light Lokilure also includes, Plant, Metal and Dark
You can imagine what this does to the number of dragons shown as outcomes. I am unsure if this is accurate or whether it is a glitch in the sandbox.

I don’t have any of last years ornamentals. I bought the two from the limited market. I’ve been trying for harmony, in all my breeding areas, rift too and finally got one this morning just before reset. And yesterday, I received festive from an egg i bought in the rift. Someone mentioned, a few pages back, buying rift eggs and having great luck on getting missing dragons. Btw, thanks for posting such a great tip! I’m using extra E to buy eggs and it’s like I have a koala on my shoulder. 😉

Perhaps the Sandbox is accurate here, MinyaZ. I tested out Mountain Sun and Lokilure in my Rift, and Plant, Metal and Dark did show up in the fails. I switched to Jadice since, according to the Sandbox, it only adds Water to the mix. I did see Water show up in the fails. And much to my surprise, I also managed to get a Plant Rifted Yule on the first day of breeding!

MOUNTAIN SUN + HARMONY MOUNTAIN SUN + TWINKLE/VENTURE
Harmony adds metal, and metal has a lower number of breeding fails. Twinkle and Venture adds air, which has a couple more outcomes. Verglace and Tinsel both add cold; cold adds more possible fails than metal and air.

I’m always hopeful when dragons are created with elements other than fire, earth, plant, cold. NB For anyone that uses the DragonBreed app instead of/as well as the sandbox, be aware that it only shows Fire, Earth and Cold fails for the Naughty dragons.

Thanks adlerist I need to change the dragons I'm using in my other park breeding to get Yule and try and keep the number of fails to a minimum. Of course, in the Rift, I don't have any of the best dragons to use. At least the breeding time is short.

Dontcha just love the new s..t..r..e..t..c..h..e..d.. version of DV (you get after watching some of those ads)? I wonder why, BFS, with their now limited staff, chose to implement this ‘feature’ while so many other things need attention (a little sarcasm there).

The ads in my park don't always play now and haven't for a while. They start and the knock me out of my park all together. Also today the copter didn't show up. Don't know if that is because of the bad winter weather we are getting or if there is a problem. They did get it fixed so I can now go to Nogard's park to collect party hats. Wondering if they fixed one problem and created something with the copter with the fix. Missing out on berries that I know. If doesn't show up tomorrow will e-mail.

Hi GPK. It’s ridiculous, those ads, with half the time my phone crashes after the ad. 🤨I’m not watching a single one anymore, even though I desperately need those extra few gems. Unless I’m on my ipad, only a few crashes here and there. Maybe you could head on up to BFS and use your wizardly programing skills and set them straight!! ( no sarcasm here)😉
