It’s been a bit of a long week and at the moment, I can’t seem to make by brain work properly 🙃
Triple Leap Year is born of 4 elements, but then in becomes just one element, Rainbow, right?? So in co-op, I must use another dragon with at least three elements to clone TLY?? Could I use another Epic, with set, not variable, breeding elements?? I would normally just skip on over to the Sandbox , but I didn’t see TLY playing there yet. Oh, and that is in no way a complaint to the Keeper of the Sandbox. 😊 I guess what I’m asking is, what’s a good dragon for cloning TLY in co-op? Thanks bunches 🐨

Dang. Already burned through my usual allotment of rift breeding before the limiteds were added (popped in right after reset, I guess I have excellently horrible timing?). Oh well, I did manage to clone a daylily dragon on the third try so there's that. :-P

Edit - Oh right, rift counts.  Yay I can keep using the current breeding pair, that makes things simple and maybe I did get a few chances in already?

I think amos’ tip was
4 different elements... and the Rift can stand as one... so some are breeding rifted versions in the Vale...

I think that is all we know at the moment
some have posted some random successes, back one page

Hmmm, what about a Rifted Dark element dragon... nope, I just assumed that Rainbows wouldn’t have Dark, but checking magpac’s dragon element list in the ED, they do... so that idea wont work, sorry

i of course per my born-with medium level luck (good, and bad, yes I’ll take the allocation 😈) have tried all the listed successful pairs with no success 
hopefully one of the more game-knowledgeable folks, with working brains, will post soon re the coop best partners 🤣

If you are using Triple Leap Year as a parent you should be able to clone it in co-op (or any cave) using any elder - or any dragon for that matter.  🐨

At the risk of complicating things, the other Leap Year dragons contribute all elements to a breed, so it is possible/probably that Triple Leap Year does as well.  Rainbow (Epic) counts as one element, but then all the hidden elements (ten in this cases) contribute as well.  So, you are well covered for the four elements.

Thank you adlerist for sharing your Whirlwind. I now have one incubating on the nest. Sorry that it wasn't a twin.

I used Kairos to speed up the breeding and discovered that one of my other breeds was a Triple Leap Year! I used Gaia to hatch him and he is now 💙
in co-op.

For those interested in the breeding combo, I was breeding Ghostly Kringle and Ghostly Coal - trying for pedestals.

So, Kiwichris and MinyaZ, since combos from all elements are possible outcomes from any breeding using a Rainbow or any LeapYear, it will most likely be easier to breed outside the co-op. Less fails using 4 elements than 10. 🙃

Probably, although we are assuming that Triple Leap Year contributes all elements. I would think so, but then you should get a slightly better chance if you are using one as a parent in co-op - but just use a single element elder, you don't need to use a rainbow or other Leap Year. Quil is the best person to advise on the breeding odds for the dragons and the optimum place to try breeding for them.

MinyaZ, I will definitely try with an Elder in co-op and see how long it takes. I’m going to try the rift +3 elements there. Finger crossed 🤞🏻

...... will also put out more koala treats. Haven’t seen any of those little darlings around lately 🐨

I’m been getting that same ad EVERYTIME!! Plus it makes my park go all stretched out wonky🤨
Can’t I have back that furniture store, or maybe even the insurance company, just to mix it up 🤷🏻‍♀️

Based on Deca’s statement, it appears their intention and overall goal is to create new content and new events. They have hired at least one former BFS employee who worked on DV, so that’s very promising.

A Deca rep on Discord has stated that for now events will be in BFS’s format, and maybe they will create a new Deca-style event in the future. Too soon to tell. Starting a new type of event or one with different mechanics will be a lengthy process. It would take BFS six months to develop a new event, and they had many more employees working on DV and a deep understanding of the game. So I think for now, we can expect the familiar BFS event template with Deca’s dragons soon to be added. After all, the BFS backlog will eventually run dry.

Good move on DECA’s part.  I’m sure that they will allow that employee to remain in the Boulder area...but then again, living in Germany wouldn’t be so bad either.

Opened chests from my gifts and the magic was added to my overall total, even though I was maxed out for the day. Might be an idea to open those after maxing out? Remember the old days when we could “bank” event currency in our gifts?

Thanks for the idea Dreamn 😊 I opened my gift chests last night, before my max, but was still lacking a couple hundred Magic. It seems to be taking me a bit longer to max my Magic than past events. I think it’s the games, I’m so bad at aiming that coin and also guessing at shadows, ugh. When I just now collected habitats and reached max, I see my total is 238 over what it should be at 3100, day one @1100 + yesterday @2000. If they don’t bank and just add the gift chest to our totals, thats a great little bonus for us.

Wow fantastic combo of Snow and Pollen! Just got 2 in my baby park, one ordinary, one rifted, and another rifted in my main park to go with the ordinary one I already had. very happy with that, now I can concentrate on twins 😀 Koala everyone 🐨🐨🐨
