Got a plain TLYr in the Rift w/ a Lvl 20 Harmony & Lvl 17 Spore.*  It took about 10 tries. I’ll 💙 it when it gets to the Park in 2 hrs.

* Best Combo per Sandbox.

A Deca rep on Discord has stated that for now events will be in BFS’s format, and maybe they will create a new Deca-style event in the future. Too soon to tell. I keep marvelling at the fact that Triple Leap Year looks a lot like Harmony. So much so, I was tempted to use Harmony in a breeding combo. I’m so pleased you did and it worked!



Subtract two heads and Triple Leap Year is the doesn’t-really-like-your-kale-salad sister of Harmony.

On another note, I kind of miss the daily gift, but I am overjoyed that there are no gifts or visitors to search for. Life is much simpler this way. I like a low pressure event. Life is about far more than DV.

The splash screen is recycled from The Great Dragon Faire 2015. I believe it’s also a sign that this is a Deca event, not a BFS event, because BFS would never reuse an event splash screen. They’d just as easily create a new one. But since Deca is understandably too busy with the game transfer to do artwork, we may see some returning images. To produce their DV events quickly, Deca is using BFS’s event format as a template, so the mechanics of upcoming events, like this one, will look very familiar. However, all the new dragons are BFS’s unreleased dragons. That gives this event a distinct BFS-ness.

I am 100% with you on the relief of not having to searching for event trinkets or special visitors. Honestly, I can barely drag myself around my park to look for flag bearers every day.[/quote]

Good move on DECA’s part.  I’m sure that they will allow that employee to remain in the Boulder area...but then again, living in Germany wouldn’t be so bad either.

Yes, the previous BFS employee is still in Colorado working remotely for Deca. It might not be as exciting or adventurous as relocating, but attending those company picnics in Germany will be an enormous perk.

if the 3LYD is the only one missing your friend might want to go for it in all caves.
And when using it in the coop as one parent you'd add breeding chances and cloning chances.

Plus there might be friends trying for a second 3LYD or a twin

Even though I haven't maxed out, I am unable to collect magic in the rift or my regular park, in the morning. Am I the only lucky person this is happening to?

I got a triple leap year in the coop using a friends TLY and a tree level 20. It’s now being shared. I also got Tolzar, the market sponsor gem and the 2 extra colosseum gems for watching a vision back! Sent deca a thank you. Yesterday was a really great dv day for me. 🐨🐨🐨🐨🐨🐨 to all!

It’s the same for me. I think I used to collect a lot more from habitats than I am now. Collected zero this morning. I know I always used to collect event currency from collecting gems and now I don’t. I’m doing a lot of rift breeding and trying to only hatch eggs when I need magic.

I was able to collect some this morning until I reached my daily maximum.

I'm crashing less these days, but in the Rift that sadly doesn't apply. I can't change the breeding combo anymore because every time I try, it crashes.

Does anyone have a fix? I've been two weeks without Rift breeding.

Got my TLY just now in the rift with Sandscale and Flower. Got all the way to the second 10,000 breed before I got it, but needed the magic to max out anyway.
