During THE SPRING SHELLEBRATION, Magic Eggs can be earned in a variety of ways, including:
Breeding dragons & hatching eggs
Purchasing dragons with Gems Collecting from habitats Viewing Visions from Tolzar Competing in the Colosseum and The Budding Hut Playing games in the Eggsercise Arcade (Name That Dragon, Wheel of Chance, Dragon Drop, Name That Egg... YAY!) Collecting daily rewards at the Sundial of Surprises (or is it the Colorful Benefactory? Split personality!)
Finding Hidden Eggs in your park Locate special visitors
Completeing breeds in the Runic Breeding Caves
TIMELINE THE SPRING SHELLEBRATION runs through May 26th On May 27th any leftover Magic Eggs will turn into Dragon Cash.
CLAIRVOYANT DRAGON - Currently can only be bought or bred in the Co-Op with one being shared Elements: Cold/Dark/Light (Hybrid dragon) Incubate: 12h
GLYPH DRAGON Evolve dragon: 10 Wooden Idols, evolve Monolith 4. To breed, both parents must be Glyph Elements: Monolith dragon Incubate: 16h
MINCHI DRAGON Evolve dragon: 10 Shells, evolve Stoneshell. To breed, both parents must be Minchi Elements: Hidden dragon Incubate: 30h
WOODVINE DRAGON - Currently can only be bought or bred in the Co-Op with one being shared Elements:Earth/Plant/Air (Hybrid dragon) Incubate: 14h
HEDERA DRAGON Evolve dragon: 10 Ivy Leafs, evolve Monolith 3. To breed, both parents must be Hedera - EXPIRED but still evolvable Elements: Monolith Incubate: 24h
PIXIE DRAGON Evolve dragon: 10 Roses, evolve Monolith 6. To breed, both parents must be Hedera - EXPIRED but still evolvable Elements: Monolith Incubate: 18h
There is an absolute truckload of Hidden Eggs in your park! I counted 15 pink, 13 green, 14 blue, and 7 gold. And the green border around the Visitors icon is still on. I’m searching through a two island park, and I can’t find any more eggs. So I think it’s safe to say there’s 10-15 of each coloured egg, and 5-10 gold eggs.
Here’s what the eggs payout (regular days) Pink = 1 magic egg Blue = 1 magic egg Green = 2 magic eggs Gold = 5 magic eggs
Kaleni (event mascot) = 25 magic eggs
So far the gold eggs have only offered event currency.
Will have to wait and see if everything re-spawns. And if that green border ever goes away!
Edit: the green border DOES go away if you find all the eggs and Kaleni!
Edit #2: there are 50 eggs total in your park every day, and none of them or Kaleni return. Once a day is it.

Hats off to Deca for keeping us engaged with reliable dragon entertainment and a sense of normalcy — no matter how bad it gets outside, it’s still cheerful and familiar in the Vale. And most importantly, thank you for easing the self-isolation, as it ensures we will continue to stay at home.

Oh no, are you kidding? They brought back those awful evolution decorations. 😥
But aside from all that, the Clairvoyant dragon is officially the cutest dragon that ever lived! I might have to sit down and make myself a Clairvoyant plushie because that thing is so cute I just want to hug and cuddle with it. 😍
Must hug cute adorable baby dragon. ❤💜💙 It's so precious. I actually squealed like a little girl when I saw it. And I haven't done that for a very long time. 😊 ❤

In chests I got a rose deco and an ivy leaf deco. They say "collect 10 roses to evolve a certain monolith dragon into a pixie dragon" and "collect 10 ivy leafs to evolve a certain monolith dragon into a hedera dragon." So those are two dragons that haven't shown up yet.
edited to correct: theyboth transform monolith dragons, I misremembered and thought one was for a hidden dragon.

Goodness there is a lot going on in this event - after the last event which was nice and relaxed it seems like they've rolled several previous events into one!
adlerist Would you mind sharing again, your suggested order of dragons to breed in the runic caves?
It appears the elemental dragons were breedable for a short time after the event went live, and then turned off. I see several people got them in the rift before that happened and have them up in social. Unfortunately I was away with work until just now..
I mentioned a few days ago that you should be looking to collect extra dragons: Monolith 3, 4, and 6 and the Stoneshell. This was why, they'll be used for evolutions.
Each set of 10 evolution items falls into 1 of 4 different rarities. Some will be common, some will be very rare. Similar to previous events. If the description of the spring chest is correct and we'll receive a guaranteed new decoration, then finishing off the rares shouldn't be too bad.

I’ve always kept two of every dragon, so for the Runic Breeding Caves, my strategy always involves breeding two of the same.
(1) After I breed the dragons I know I’m going to keep because I need a twin or Rift-twin version, (2) I’ll start breeding epic and rare dragons that have locked combos. Since dragons with locked combos can never be breeding fails, it’s best to begin with them and knock out some dragons with their fails. (3) Then I’ll breed the evolve dragons and the Ghostly dragons since they can’t be fails either. (4) Next, the rare 4-element dragons (no required combos), (5) then 3-element dragons. By this time, I’ve acquired almost all of the 2-element dragons from breeding fails. If there’s a couple stragglers they’re easily bred, and of course don’t forget to breed the primary dragons.
I try for long breeds like the Rainbow dragons, Portent, Elysium, Dream, Moon, etc. just before activating Kairos so the caves aren’t clogged up with 12-hour timers. Also, if I know I’m going to be away for a while, I’ll try for a longer breed.
In the past, the Runic Breeding Cave events overlapped with BEB, which alters the strategy a little. If this event continues without BEB, I may breed more epics.
In my secondary park, which doesn’t have two of every dragon yet, sometimes I’ll breed Rainbow + Double Rainbow for a wide variety (this works especially well when BEB is on).
