u/astral_rainfall posted this brilliant meme on Reddit, and I could not stop thinking of everyone here. Although it was referring to the bountiful Aurora fails for Lightmatter, I think it can apply to every new dragon in the event.

The extra stars are related to the majority correctly answering the trivia question, I think there are five of them.
My question is whether the stars are designated in the program, so if you find all of the "extra" stars before all of the "regular" ones, the border will change after the last "regular" one and there won't be more in your park, or if the border just disappears after you have found the regular number of stars (not individually designated as to "regular" or "extra") and there will always be five others somewhere in the park?

It appears the extra trivia stars are added to our parks at reset with the regular daily stars, but unfortunately, they’re not programmed to the Visitor’s icon border. So if you find all the daily stars, the border disappears, even though there may be some trivia stars lingering in your park.
I’ve paid a little more attention to the trivia stars lately. The amount of Magic they payout is different than the daily stars.
TRIVIA STARS 3 blue stars = 5 Magic each 1 purple star = 10 Magic 1 yellow star = 50 Magic
Note: the amount of Magic trivia stars offer DOES NOT change during Double Days.

Thank you for the breakdown. For some reason, I thought the 5 Trivia Stars were only Blue giving 5 Magic. Then today I noticed that I had two yellow stars which gave 100 Magic and a yellow star that gave 50 magic - it now makes sense.
It may not be as fixed as you think. I believe on single days it sticks, but I think on double days it continually reverts. I may be wrong, but I seem to remember things sticking on certain days and not others and figuring out that was the difference. I hope I’m wrong, but I believe it is going to stop ‘sticking’ at reset today.
Thanks for mentioning this - you are right - the settings are not 'sticking' on doubles day. Just mildly annoying.
I completely agree. In my little park, I am trying to get a dusk, so the time of day has mattered to me since I got a dawn near the beginning of the event. I realized I had to keep resetting the tower on some days and not on other, and learned the pattern. Very frustrating, but knowing the pattern has helped me to remember before wasting many breeding attempts. Still, I was really hoping I was wrong and that the problem had finally been fixed for good.

I thought it was the twilight tower since the question mentioned time wizard but I didn’t have two of the tower choices so I couldn’t be sure.

amos Thanks so much for that exact combo!!!! Because.... eeeeeeh!! I finally was able to breed my first event dragon!! YEP! You betcha!! I got Moriante!! And it was in the rift!!! I have nightfall and fireflies going in the park and used blue moon and light rift in a 2,000 breeding!! Can y’all tell I’m excited!! 😆

It appears Deca has been pulling their trivia material from old game info. The correct answer is from an early Twilight Tower description (2014). BFS later updated the description when the Tower became permanent, and sadly the Twilight Tower’s origin story with the wizard Circadia was dropped.
This issue has been reported to Deca so they’ll know to retrieve trivia questions and answers from current game descriptions.

the answer was posted 23 min after it showed up in the game lol. thats pretty fast. i dont think i could do it faster but will try to post answer if its not here. also i want hear more about this circadia wizard!

Looks like Moriante won't be visiting my park anytime soon. 😥
i have the same in cooperative. i tried the blue moon & a friends moriante & got blue moon then rainbow then blue moon ☹️ its taking all my gems. i think i will go back to using candescent. koala i hope u & everyone get it soon!

When I think about all of the (real-world useless) information I have amassed over the years about this game-- complicated breeding and cloning rules, epic and hybrid dragon families, egg and form identifications, rift , co-op, and regular park strategies, and now trivia... 1) I am in awe of the revered "elders" on this forum who answer our arcane questions, 2) I wonder why I don't work on acquiring so much information in a real-world useful topic, and 3) I am happy to think at least it helps combat brain atrophy, much better than some of the other "merge" or "cause a blockslide" games we see in the ads, I think. And 4) Thanks to everyone who participates in this forum for supportive, quirky, enlightening, and friendly posts, and somehow providing a virtual community aspect to the game.

And to add to & amplify your post nagini , I couldn’t agree w/you more. I’ve been playing DV almost since it’s inception but I really am weak on the stuff you mentioned...Epic, Hybrid etc. We are so fortunate to have those ‘Elders’. I DO think that DV helps keep my aged mind in shape.
During this virus business, I have reduced my exposure quite a bit. Venturing out to Walmart every two weeks or so for groceries and to a friend’s house for dinner once a week although Saturday night I DID go up to a friend’s house for a good view of the fireworks. Funny thing...Even with all this extra ‘Safe-At-Home’ time, I’ve actually reduced my on-line game playing. I’ve given up 2 Golf games I’ve played for years and used that time on my guitar and I can really notice more improvement!
Community is exactly what this forum is. I look forward to hearing about everyone’s ‘happenings’ every day. I’ve often thought of how cool it would be if we could all get together for a sort of reunion, maybe at a place like Branson, MO but that wouldn’t be so good for our friends outside the US, like Kiwichris. What would REALLY be best is if we could all meet Chris in New Zealand!
Anyway, just my thoughts... Luv all of you great people!!!

I think that is an awesome idea. I would love to meet Chris in New Zealand along with everyone else who can go. However, I have a feeling Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern might have a thing or two to say about that. BTW I just I love PM Ardern!
But who knows maybe in a year or two something like that could actually become a reality. The world changed in an instant, it can change again. As a matter of fact I have no doubt it will.
I imagine there will not be any more dragons this event.
