Okay, so Exandrew doesn't really have a great design. I thought nah, I'll just pass. Maybe wait for something else to come along.
But then I read his information again, and I thought about how much I can relate to this dorky little critter. All the trading cards I've collected, the RPG marathon gaming, and so much anime. So much anime and cosplay.
I thought maybe I want him. Maybe I could name him Leonard or Sheldon.... So yeah, I drug out my elder Air dragon. I bred Exandrew. And now we can happily nerd out together.

Since Exandrew is showing as permanent, on Friday, I asked if this was a mistake or does Daylily really have a new three-element friend. Deca has just confirmed Exandrew is limited. This will be corrected in the game ASAP.
If you held off breeding Exandrew because it looked like he’d be sticking around, the good news is Exandrew, as a rare dragon, is easier to breed than the epics we’ve seen so much of in the Limited tier. Koala!

So the maximum flowers for selling each Rift breed is 20 right? This is regardless of the duration of breed time. But I sold Party for 24 flowers! I wonder why the difference for Party over Rainbow or other dragons with 20+ hours breed time...
I try hard enough to fill both 2,5k slots in the rift every time, but still no rifted Exandrew. I rather like the derp, but has anyone else been massively struggling with it?
(I've had the same issue with gemstone dragons every time. Outside they're quick enough to get, but whole months did not suffice for a "shiny" one. I'm positive they exist at least, as mystery eggs gave my two rifted amethyst.)

Thanks for the update adlerist. Exandrew now has a green hourglass in the Dragonarium and has been moved out of the Fire, Earth and Air categories. Daylily will have no friends for a bit longer.
Exandrew is easier to breed, but can be a bit stubborn. It took me four days to breed the first one!

I have bred 2. First time was Lava + Smoke. Then I used Exandrew + Smoke, so I'm not sure if the 2nd one was a breed, or a clone. I'm not interested in the Rift version, so I'm trying to breed a vanilla one while I have 2 chances. Otherwise I'll try and clone for it down the track.

Memories of Paradise has been extended. It appears the event will conclude on 31 August at 11.00am MDT. However, there is some confusion on the last day to collect Flowers. The event FAQ states the last day is 28 August at 11.00am MDT. Although that would mean we have THREE days to make our final selections in the event market, instead of two days.
I’ve asked Deca for confirmation on the event’s end dates, and will notify everyone when I hear back.

I bred Exandrew in the Rift with Blightwing + Porcelain and in the Vale with Bone + Sandstorm.
Yes, you’re correct. You can breed Gemstone/Crystalline dragons in the Rift. But they are more difficult to breed than hybrids and rare dragons. It helps to level up your breeding dragons to level 16. G’luck!
