Speaking on rifts, to all which rift trait is your favorite? I’m at a toss up between lightning, plant, fire, dark. Not the biggest fan of earth, or metal.

I have a hard time choosing between lighting, light, and dark traits.
I was able to breed an Alffa rifty using Level 16 Delirium (Dark) + Level 19 Air rift.

I think my 🍷 also worked! Just bred Alffa rift using a level 11 Nightmare (Air) and a level 16 Air Rift!! Not sure if park level 79 matters. Now I just have to wait for my Co-op 2-day failure with greggerman ‘s Alffa to finish. 😔
Neither are particularly easy to breed. Daydream would be the better dragon to go for as when you get it, it will then only contribute Air, Light and Dark to the outcome, whereas a Dream dragon contributes all elements.

I don't understand it. I checked that website at least 15 times today, reloading it completely each time and it still told me Sunscorch wasn't breedable. How do you get it to work when there's a new dragon? I must be doing something wrong.

P.S. The parent finder is showing that I must have a Sunscorch in order to breed one so I'd have to clone one instead of breed one. Is that truly the only way? If it is, I'm out of luck, most of my friends are no longer playing. If anyone would consider adding me I have two parks. They are: DragonVale#4167764 and DragonVale#4046236, all are welcome. I'm still looking for a few gem and food traders also. Thanks!

Sunscorch is breedable. I got one tonight in the rift. You need water, dark, and a moon element. I got mine with Abyss and Razzle. Hope you can get one soon.

I was going by the sandbox only but rulilind is correct. One way to find out if a dragon can be bred is through the dragonarium. If it’s a limited dragon, like the Sunscorch, and can be bred, it will have a green hourglass. If it has a grey hourglass it can only be bred by cloning.
Using the sandbox link: If it’s breedable in the dragonarium, but you don’t have one, check the “if I don’t have one...” box and the “bring em back” box.

That’s what I thought it was supposed to be but my phone’s Clock says it’s 1 AM and the breeding cave says it’s still day. It’s been “day” for at least the past 15 hours.

Thanks Dreamn - I would also add that the websites are not automatically updated. Sunscorch was just released as a limited dragon so the website and other breeding apps must be updated to reflect this before it will show up. Using the games Dragonarium along with breeding sites for combos is the best way to use them.

It will show daytime unless you’ve changed settings using the twilight tower or DECA has changed the settings for the event. To breed dragons needing nighttime settings without changing the twilight tower, start the breeding cycle between 7pm and 7am.

You can get the twilight tower quite cheaply in some events. And any other building/island theme/sparkly thing, except the two gigantic islands, which you have to use wishes for

Where can you see that the breeding cave says its day?
When you hit breed, in the middle between the two lists of dragons, it tells you whether it is day or night in your park. I had never noticed it until it was necessary in the last event. You don’t see that when you hit re-breed.
