If you don’t own any you get offered a regular, if you have regular you are offered a twin, if you have a twin you are offered a rift version.
I already have a rift Alffa and have been trying to breed a normal Alffa in the vale as well as the rift. Today, I get two rift Alffa dragons one after the other. Really, game - three rift versions?
Koalas to those still trying to get Alffa - I released one of these extra Alffa's back into the wild, I hope someone who needs one manages to catch it.

That happened to me the other day. It was also loading slower and crashed a few times.
Methinks there is a minor glitch in the system that is tied to these old splash screens.
Careless programming causes memory management problems which causes the crashes. I know it’s not DECA’s fault but they really need to try to fix those problems. We should be able to play in High Definition and without crashes.
I have an iPad Air 2...an older one, so I’m told. I do a memory clear* before I start up DV. Then I do all my park chores (collections, breeding, hatching etc.). Then I close DV and do another memory clear, start DV back up and go into the Rift and do those chores. If I don’t do those memory clears, a crash is guaranteed.

Send the two rift versions over to the vale side and breed until you get an Alffa. You can’t get traits on that side so it will be a regular when you breed one or you can just buy a regular from the market if you have enough currency.

Ditto, sadly had to buy most of ‘em and missed out totally on (naughty prince) Andrew, and nada rifties now a wee bittie concerned about possibly another newbie in the last few days, and whether I have enough 🌸🌼🌺 for 🐉 sigh

I will now add myself to those who have encounter the Suncrest Soirée splash screen, with its slow load and several crashes trying to get in. When it crashed, I would double click and close out, but when I came back in I still got the old splash screen every time, until I finally got into my park. I tried on my other device, and had no problem. A very annoying glitch, when it keeps you from getting in.
Mylio, a social distancing master and part-time introvert is at 20 and in the co-op, ensuring everyone is staying two metres apart.
Breeding combo: water element + dark element + light element
Breeding/incubation time: 22 hours
Status: Limited tier, 10 days
PS, I bred Mylio with Laguna (level 18) + Sunscorch (level 18) in the Rift.
If you’re breeding in the Vale, I wouldn’t recommend Sunscorch, since it adds the Moon element (without adding Moon dragon fails), so you’re adding a fourth element which will invite Rainbows and Double Rainbows (in the Rift it doesn’t matter because the Rift is an element so it’s the fourth element and Moon is the fifth).
In the Vale, try a different combo like Mirage + Humuhumu.
