Summer camp was a little delayed this year, but it’s still massively, global-warming hot in the Vale. So, hi-ho the derry-o, a camping we will go!
After the crazy paradise party, it is time for something more chill and laid back. Even though summer is not over yet, let’s all gather around the camp fire and tell each other stories of fond summer days past. Numerous of our DragonVale wizards will be joining us in this camping miracle, and they can’t wait to share the exciting things we have planned.

EGGY HATCHY (what the heck?) *************************
Deca has introduced a new mini-game called Eggy Hatchy! While it is super exciting, it is also wildly confusing. Here are some links and tips to guide you through the game:

The wonderful forum mods and members have diligently collected data and information for the different towers and stages to assist you every step of the way!
The Eggy Hatchy game is another way of earning pinecones during the Camping event. You start with 10 tickets to play, and when your total drops below 5, you earn one every 30 minutes. Each time you play costs you a ticket. (The tickets are NOT filled up at reset, only 1 every 30 minutes)
Each level has a goal (or more) that you must complete, in order to collect the pine cones for that level. Once you have completed that level, you cannot gain more pine cones for completing it again that day. You can do it again in order to earn more points, as you need to earn points in each tower to open the higher levels. Each day at reset there will be new towers.
The mechanics of the game are simply combining 2 eggs together, to make another egg. The combinations work in the same way dragon breeding does. Opposite primaries can’t be bred together, 4 elements combined might make a rainbow, etc.
Dragon eggs always start as a level 1. When you combine them their egg number increases. Two 1s combine to make a 2. A 1 and a 2 combine to make 3. A 2 and a 3 combine to make a 5. If you combine two identic eggs you get a bonus of +1 on the level sum.
As eggs go up in levels, or if the result is rarer, it is worth more points.
Once you have an egg you want to keep for your goal, select the egg and choose “Bank”.

We’ve left the Magic and Flowers far away and will be collecting PINECONES for our outdoor outing. So roll up your plaid flannel sleeves and start rounding-up those cones.
All this pinecone searching got you pining for an ice cream (pine)cone? Luckily, we brought the soft serve ice cream machine on this camping trip. Enjoy!

Since Nogard represents Blazing Gale, his Prismatic Pantheon setting should be NONE + VISITORS + AIR + FIRE. Instead, his Pantheon settings are NONE + VISITORS + EARTH + LIGHT (just like Kaleni).

What I have learned so far from Eggy Hatchy is to try to get unique eggs. It isn’t always best to keep merging. Look for high amounts to bank to fill the goal numbers.
Coldcoil is listed as available to breed under the goals but is listed as unavailable in the dragonarium. There is not a breeding hint so this must be a mistake.

Yeah, my best shots were treasure dragons. Seasonal gives a hellish amount of points, though. Cash in yellow eggs whenever possible.
PRO TIP: Do not try the Eggy Hatchy thingy until you are totally caffeinated. Although somehow I accidentally bred a Snootroot and got a Snoot full of points.

Hidden Habitats at a reasonable 1,2k shine out. Saves me 150g.
I have been trying to pick up additional Island Themes whenever they show up at these events. Event currency is the cheaper way to acquire them compared to the Marketplace. You never know when Deca may give us a bunch of new Islands at once and it’s best to be prepared to dress them up.

I do, too. So I´m extra disappointed there`s no harvest, despite the fact its presence would make no sense since this celebrates the end of summer, lol.
If the discount ever comes back, I'll get 3-4 more islands, so every purchase needs to be pre-calculated for the theme.

I'll have to say, I did expect some point metric. Like back then when light/dark dragons came out... but adapting for players/house might be too hard if the coding doesn`t make it easy.
