Sell them on a doubles day and get the pinecones for them. You don’t get event currency if you hatch them, but you do if you sell them without hatching.
2 repeats and a new one today. Camps Cold and Mountain are similar, with Mountain probably having a slight edge. Camp S'mores is definitely the trickiest. A lot more dragon breeds required, means less chance to breed for points to level up. You'll probably have to repeat a Stage or two just to open up the big one.

Are other people accomplishing this about once a week? Less? More? How is everyone doing?

Playing the EH has not been a priority for me. I usually only do it once a day or sometimes twice when I have more time and “brain power”. I would make it a point to play more frequently on double pine cone days. I generally play across the towers starting at the lowest level, then move up the easier one(s) according to your chart (Btw, they are very helpful. Thank you!).
The highest level I have completed is 4, although I had tried to play level 5s but without accomplishing the goal.
I did breed 2 Frons (no rifted) but the other 3 Hidden dragons remain very well Hidden. Still trying to find (breed them) in coop. Meanwhile, enjoying the ambiance in the Whine Lounge.

I should come to the forum every day! Thank you for the vidalia tip, I have no rift tulip, I have been trying unsuccessfully to breed one since frons came out, but after seeing this post, I got rifted frons second try with vidalia and malachite!
It would be nice to see some of the other (clone-only) new event dragons return to the co-op caves (apex, atramiento, and coldcoil).
I’m so glad you got Frons! I bred Frons using Vidalia too in the Rift. I can’t take credit for the Vidalia tip tho. I read it off this post by adlerist. It had Vidalia listed under breeding tips.

So, while I appreciate the gesture DECA made with the three tickets for eggy hatchy, they didn’t increase the number of tickets you could have. I finished all three towers last night and have not played eh in 12 hours. I went to play thinking I would have 8 tickets, but no just had 5. So they actually gave nothing but a pretty speech. Fail.
The three tickets are in your Gifts. They were not offered until today, at reset.

I do the same as you. I don’t have time to play a lot every day but on weekends and when pinecones are x2 I try to play more and I’ve gotten all 5 levels of the towers but it’s not a priority because they don’t really give a lot of pinecones.

Yes, but if it is like Frons then it doesn't contribute the hidden element to the breeding mix, which throws you back to only cloning. And since the parents themselves have a higher chance to be the result, I would take the one with the shortest breeding time

When I use Frons + a dragon containing plant+metal, would that satisfy the breeding necessities ? (Combined with a cloning chance) or aren't the new event dragons contributing the hidden element when used ?
If they do contribute the hidden element i would like to point out that we can also use an Apex, Atramento or Coldcoil from a friend in the coop to pair it with our plant/metal dragon. That would give a chance for all new event dragons
You can clone with Plant or Metal elder or a plant + metal dragon like Iron Blossom. The new event dragons don’t contribute the hidden element.

look like peacock to me cause the eye on feathers. the egg has it to. it look like its fire with the orange or its fall color. i see the fox in the face. i like this dragon! ty for breed hint!
Had the currency so bought Ignis. Also bred one using Cumulus and Inferno in Enchanted Breeding Cave. Koalas to all.
