I am out. Sunday afternoon, a beautiful day where I live, and I just bred a non-rifted Scout in the rift. I think that makes me one of the odd ones again. Now to get back out and enjoy the day getting some yard work done, before the weather turns rainy and cold again.

Edit:  Bred a Scout in my EBS with the ever popular 15 Valor + 15 Frons combination.  Still trying for a twin in the Co-op.

Also, it seems to go against....oh, I don’t know, something...to take just take a gem 🙃
so I’m accepting the 💎 and returning also. If I accidentally return a pledge gem, please don’t feel obligated to return it back, then this may never end 🤦🏻‍♀️🤪

I had the same thoughts over the weekend LynnMarie.  I can't remember if I sent a gem to someone who is now returning it - or if it is a freebie contest gem.  I decided I would just accept any gems that arrive during this competition - without returning them.  While I might "fall out" of some gem exchanges, I figure I can always get "back in them" someday by sharing a gem with the friends I've made.  I only have two regular gem-swappers, so I have one gem I feel compelled to bestow each day on someone out there in DV.

Not sure whether this is the correct approach or not, but I feel better for having decided something.

So, the gem confusion is my fault. I have not yet had to pay any gems for pledges, but I have gotten so many because of first that I can’t track who to give to and not return gems because of pledges. I can’t even keep track of who is in this competition. I was trying for twins and selected @crumble because I thought she was in the competition (she did close it and had posted). When I got the correct timer in the CBC I went to say something and found out she wasn’t in the competition (turned out not to be twins anyway).

I have been gifting LynnMarie because you are gem poor from your oops (I’ve done that myself before). I also have been gifting BagMom since she is not level 140.

Awe, thanks lisgie ! You and rulilind are sweethearts and have been very generous with helping me restore my gems. Since I haven’t been speeding up all these Valor fails trying for Scout, I’ve been able to fill the coffers to 450+ gems. Having 16 gemstone and crystal habitats sure comes in handy, plus my gemstone island too 💎💎💎

On the bad side, since I haven’t been speed breeding, I still have t gotten Scout! 😟. And now there’s Whimsical also! 😩

I saw somewhere recently 😉 that Koalas really like apples 🍎 with their dark chocolate truffles and whine 🍷

I’ll keep sending the dark chocolate truffles; unfortunately, we had a late freeze this year, so I don’t have any apples to send, our trees are bare.

These extra green apples must be Rifted ones, hehe. ‘Cause I’ve gotten a Whimsical in the rift. 

Ya know, I haven’t used my Airship, currently docked in the rift, in quite some time, years actually.  And, Since we been away camping, I have noticed apple cores and empty truffle boxes strewn across the deck, hmm 🤔.
 Now that I think on it, I did get both of the only two event dragons I’ve bred IN the rift. 

That’s it!! Why didn’t I realize  this before!!  The koalas have turned my Airship into a houseboat!   They have been lounging about in the rift having their own holiday!!
