You introduced me to a new one tho. I hadn’t heard that On the Tundra song. I’ll have to check out more of GBV’s music.
If I remember correctly, there was a “cheat” we can use, although takes a bit of time. I think it was to open a card, write it down and then close the mini game. I think we may have to also close the entire game too, before we open the mini game again to open another card. Do the same until you have them all. Then open the right ones to match. Not sure if this still works, or worth the time. I will just stick with name that egg. 😉
Oh! I for got another that! Hehe. I remember making tic-tac-toe like grids and writing down the matches, but for got about the hack. I’ll have to try it in 10 or so hours. 🤫shhh, don’t tell Deca unless we are sure the hack does NOT work 😏😉
I forgot about the hack as well, but also find that writing down things as you uncover them helps immensely, so you don't have to worry about remembering anything. I was able to get through the first board while using up only 3 tries. I used the remaining 2 tries to get started on a second board. Your mileage may vary...

Why is there a Box of Chocolates floating in the Vale’s (Valice’s) sky? So cosmically weird.
Also, there’s lots of new decorations in the Rose tier of the event market!

None of my friends had a Canna dragon to share when the event first started, so I was trying to clone a Murano with no luck. Then, I checked at a change over, and a Canna was available. And the very first time I tried to clone one with my Seaweed ... I got a Frond as a fail.

So, hypothetically speaking 😉, if you choose a card, close the mini game, and either close the game or visit a friend’s park, and then go back to the mini game it’s as if you hadn’t chosen a card yet (still the same board). It took me about 10 minutes to complete a full board for 170 roses and I still had 4 more plays remaining. Perhaps on double days it might be worth the amount of time it would take to repeat that 4 more times? 🤷♀️
FYI, to keep track of the cards, I created a 3X6 table in the note app on my phone and used the emojis 😁

I doubt it, unless they're part of a breeding pair, but maybe you're spot on.

Yes, it is always nice to come across a fellow LC fan wherever I find them. I too own all his music, books and dvds. I have not found too many casual fans, I think when Leonard's words speak to you, you're hooked. I loved how he would often change the lyrics of his songs, especially in concert. It felt like his songs were never finished or he was never quite finished with them. But now they are done.
I too love a crack in everything.
A couple of my favorite lines from his music are from the Future "take the only tree that's left And stuff it up the hole In your culture"

As is clearly evident, I can talk LC all day and not get bored. I will stop now though, as this is an odd place for it.
On topic, no dragons yet. But it's only day two, so I am at my most optimistic period of an event. I just have to try to put the breaks on the speed breeding somewhat.

Does it keep the same board if you make a match and then come back?
Yes. It keeps it exactly the same from where you left off, with the exception of the one card that you flipped is back to face down, which is why you need to write down what that card was.
