In the prize gallery, when I first saw the Lost Island as a prize I got so excited. The prize is clearly marked 0/1, so I thought this is great, another lost island, yay! But nope, lol, it’s the same island I already have, except mine is expanded 🙄

I haven’t had much luck during this event. I am not getting any of the new dragons. I am using the correct pairs for breeding, but I have not been able to get ANY of the new dragons. I have not bred any new dragons in the breeding caves either. Is it just me? I have been trying for an Aquamarine dragon in my small Park, since it became available during the last event. This is unusual for me. Is anyone else having difficulties?

The Expanded Lost Island allows the Lost Island to be the size of a regular island. It was introduced in late 2019. If you have the Lost Island, you and can purchased the expansion for 1,500 gems or a wish can be used to obtain it.
Yolkwing was changed to permanent status for consistency. BFS had already converted many of the limited Rift exclusives a couple years ago. Yolkwing was the last hold out. Six months ago, Deca changed Yolkwing to permanent. So now only the Rift rainbow epics (Chromacorn, Corrupticorn, Spectrapod) are limited, with the exception of Nox. (Nox was intially released as an epic, but the Game Reps had Deca change it to a rare dragon because it does not have an epic element. Perhaps one day Nox will become permanent too.)

The Harmonious and Monolith Reward habitats have only been available for event currency. As a result, Deca won’t be putting them in the regular Market. Maybe in the future they’ll consider it, but they’ll have to weigh out the advantages/disadvantage of changing the availability of the habitats and allowing them to be purchasable for gems instead of being event exclusive items.
The good news is Deca did increase the Harmonious habitat limit from 3 to 5 for this event. And the Monolith Reward habitat from 2 to 5.

Yup, but also ghostly obsidian and ghostly lava. I spend the whole break trying for ghostly evergreen and glacier. Nope. Just four Lichens and two mountains.

Getting all 5 harmonious would likely cost something like 6000 gems if they were available. The reward habitats cost the same as the normal ones during BEB, I believe.

Daylily is permanent bc Aquacorn is permanent and such. They're from the same event. Trasher would need to go also...

Yolkwing was made permanent six months ago. It should have been included in the event from the beginning as the Easter Egg dragon, but Deca must have overlooked it. It is here now and because of inflation, it costs more this event that it did when it was first introduced.
Daylily is a very special dragon as it is the only permanent three element dragon and is in the Elemental category of the Dragonarium. It was one of the first dragons that Deca released and there was talk that Deca were going to make more permanent three element dragons but so far Daylily is the only one.

Keep trying joie1974 the koalas have been very struggling to get round everyone's parks the last few events.
What in particular are you trying to breed? The gemstones are always tricky and not easy to get. I have tried for a whole month and still not managed to breed the monthly one. Try and have your dragons at level 11, 16 or an elder. The breeding odds are better with higher level dragons.
Thank you adlerist for sharing your Peony dragon. I have managed to clone one, but unfortunately it wasn't a twin. I will be putting Peony in a habitat with no water. I don't want to be worried about the poor thing drowning when I'm not watching.
In the interests of catching up, am I right in thinking that the Chrysalis dragons aren't limited and as I have all 5 gen 1 + Starwing and Glowwing already, I should be able to breed the rest after the event is done, whereas the hidden and rare event dragons will require cloning afterwards so I should concentrate on them?

Trying to breed the evolution dragons (Glyph, Hedera, Pixie, Minchi) using only one as a parent is causing crashing at the moment. When not crashing, the results are only parent no 2 primary dragons. eg: Glyph + Earth = Earth or crashed game, Hedera + Earth = Earth or crashed game, Pixie + Water = Water or crashed game. I haven't produced Minchi crash yet but did produce only water with Minchi + Water.
I will be putting Peony in a habitat with no water. I don't want to be worried about the poor thing drowning when I'm not watching.
What y'all seem to have missed is that Peony has a really nice, camouflaged SCUBA tank on it's back. It's not drowning; it is practicing in the kiddie pool!

On April 12, 2016, the Chrysalis Dragon changed from being limited to permanent. On May 22, 2019, the Rhinotorch Dragon changed from being limited to permanent. ... Says the wiki, at least. I'd urge you to buy the cheap ones, though, as they're nightmarish to get. "I'll just breed this annoying dragon during a break!" has been one of my worst mistakes.

Yes, that’s correct. The Chrysalis dragons are permanent, but the Hiddens are limited, so focusing on the limiteds is most ideal. G’luck!

Use a wish for the Expanded Lost Island. Remember, the reason why it’s not included in the event market is because it glitches when it’s added. So until Deca fixes it, the expansion will not be available during an event (and it’s likely not consider a priority).
Yolkwing was omitted from the last Easter event, so this is not the first time it has been overlooked. But this time players requested Yolkie, so it was added.
As I said, and MinyaZ too, Yolkwing was changed 6 months ago. So there was no reason for Deca to postpone Yolkwing’s change to permanent. Also, it would likely upset players if they purchased Yolkie thinking it was limited, only to have it show up as permanent after the event.
Daylily is a BFS dragon, but Deca released it. As MinyaZ said, it was one of their first releases, so they made a mistake and allowed it to be permanent. This caused some players to speculate 3-element dragons would become permanent. However, we now know this was not what Deca intended. Daylily’s permanence was just an error they decided to leave as a 'gift' to players.

PSA: do not attempt to clone Glyph, Hedera, Minichi, or Pixie with only one of these dragons as a parent. It may cause the game to crash.
It looks like Deca is working on the evolve Monolith dragons that break the two parent breeding rule. The good folks from the FB DV community discovered that breeding one of these evolve dragons with a different dragon can result in a crash. Crashing doesn’t occur with every breed, but it’s usually the result if the offspring is a primary dragon.
Therefore, if you’re trying to clone one of these dragons with only one evolve Monolith dragon, it’s best to suspend your attempts. Even if you’re not experiencing crashes, it appears Deca is correcting the evolve Monolith dragons so you will need two of the same Monolith evolve dragons to produce that dragon.

NARCIS is a member of the Amaryllis family. A spring perennial dragon with such daffodil good-looks it can frequently be found admiring itself in the Ami'Lya Pond.
