I thought I would enjoy Eggy Hatchy... I was wrong. Like 75% of the time, I keep getting unlucky with the elements I need for the goals... Even with only three elements. Same with points...
This will be a doozy if I failed to breed every dragon I'm missing in this event...
Plant targets are the worst in terms of points. BUT try this trick: if you know one step involves Plant, skip it and go on to the next (even though it may be a higher rung). Then go back when all else has been done. I just completed my first tower and got the Gate.
Point requirements are high enough in the weekly tower that it doesn't matter in the end if an egg is worth 6200 or 8000. Two twins or an epic or you're screwed 80% of the time.
PSA: LUNIS AND SOLIS CANNOT BE BRED OUTSIDE OF THE COOPERATIVE BREEDING CAVE
Do not try to breed Lunis and Solis in the Rift or the Vale. Currently, they can only be bred in the co-op. Deca needed to change their breeding requirements due to crashes at the RBCs. They should be restoring Lunis and Solis to their original state so they can be obtained in all locations, but it has not been done yet. I will let everyone know as soon as I receive confirmation. Thank you!
Some of my progress has been reset. Specifically, I could claim my daily gift a second time, and in the rift, moon + light were in the breeding cave. (Producing Hail). No idea if any currency was lost.
I finally did it. After many attempts and lucky retries, I finally beat the level that gave me the most trouble, Level 8 of the weekly tower! Too bad that the amount isn’t double during double days.
Also, after a terrible start of the event, I bred an Air Rifted Moriante before the reset! Now to dive in the dark depths know as psuedoing for Darkmatter. Hopefully, I get these stubborn spellforms I’m missing along the way. *heads to the Whine Lounge and have herself some cinnamon buns and Coca-cola.
I may despise Eggy Hatchy, yet I keep returning there even though I completed all the towers. Maybe... I’ll score a gemstone or a harder epic in there.

In the last version, I could get all of the possible Event Points, not on the first or even the second try, but eventually. Not on this version. Why do they have to keep changing things. The changes certainly haven’t been to the benefit of the DV Players.
What’s this Redo option? How often can you use it?

When a game of Eggy Hatchy is being played, the redo option is in the bottom left hand corner. It allows you to watch an an to 'undo' the last match that you made. Very handy if you only need one thing to go right to win the level. You can redo (watch an ad) five times in a day.
There is some chat about the ads and problems with them in the Bugs, Glitches and their Fixes thread. If the ad fails in Eggy Hatchy, you could lose your 'redo' attempt.

The level with the Plant breeds + 34,000 was the worst for me. Hardly any Plant hybrids put out anything to make any points from. I eventually got an Aurora after a merge for the points. I finally completed that and have them all finished until reset. I had saved a couple levels hoping the weekly tower would double, but it didn’t so I finished it up.
Redo does not work for me so that makes it harder. I like the feature, but wish it worked on my game. I think that it is great they are constantly tweaking and changing eggy based on feedback. At least it keeps it interesting, and is a bonus way to add currency to our totals.
Wow, that's all three new dragons in two days! What are you going to do for the rest of the week before the limited comes out?
Well I spend gems to get twins. I now have two twins of each so now I am going for older twin pedestals. There is always something to do with 8 versions of each dragon (including pedestals) and each event containing 64-80 new versions to get. Getting them early is the only option to get to the older things I am missing. Don’t worry, I am not bored. 😀
Finally finished all of the towers. Trying to breed Midnight in the Rift is proving extremely difficult but it's needed in order to breed a Stella dragon. Is there a Rift Whine Lounge?

Honestly, I was really looking forward to *not* starting out tens of thousands behind in currency for once. Figures it's more like 110k+ in spellforms. I'm going to hate this event no matter how great the dragons are. Maybe childish, but I'm just so done at this point.

Here's a small and probably excessive tip. Those who have completed all towers including the long one for the day, may prefer to watch the video for the free ticket after all 5 regenerates so that you'll begin the next day with 6 tickets instead.
Wtf? After activating redo, my frog couldn't find a vision two times, so it just deduced them from my 5 allowed without actually doing anything. DECA, why??
Is it possible to breed Lunis in the rift now or is DECA still working on that?
I am sure that adlerist will let us know when Deca have fixed Lunis & Solis and they can be bred in the rift. Until then, it would be better to use your rift breeding attempts on something else.
