I believe Davinese is inspired by and named after Leonardo da Vinci, who invented a flying machine that looks remarkably like Davinese’s winged get-up.
If anyone else has any theories on Davinese’s origin, I’d love to hear them!

Is there any way to give more than just 3 treats to DV friends? It feels so lopsided compared to how many gems I can send daily since I have the Dragonsai Bush and the Tree.
Goody’s Treatery and Goody’s Sugar Shack both allow you to gift treats to three players. So if you own both, you can send treats to six players.

Is it possible to breed Lunis in the rift now or is DECA still working on that?
Lunis and Solis should be restored and breedable in all locations some time this week. I’ll let you know when Deca completes the correction.

Goody's Treatery was last available in the Tundral Rumble, but Goody's Sugar Shack hasn't been seen since Winter Saga 2018. It has possibly slipped under Deca's radar to bring it back during an event.
I can't see it in the Market, but it is in the Buildings category in the wish fountain.
Hopefully it would be available during BEB - in previous BEB's (according to the Wiki) it was 1,250 gems.

Really? Is Lunis and Solis are supposed to be able to be bred anywhere? If so, I might try Sun and Eridanian in the Rift... Adding the "impossible" Spellforms to the mix too.

I thought that Davinese was an unusual looking dragon and having artificial wings as well, but I like your theory that it is inspired by Leonardo da Vinci's flying machine. It really does fit and make sense. Deca must have their staff constantly trawling the internet to find obscure items that they can reference with their dragons.

When Solis and Lunis were first released they were able to be bred in the rift (and any other breeding cave) using either Sun/Moon and a galaxy dragon. They were also able to be single parent cloned.
During the last event, some players had managed to breed them in the Runic Breeding Cave, but the game would crash when they tried to collect them. To 'fix' the problem, Deca changed the breeding combo to be co-op only.
Until Deca change this, Solis and Lunis are only breedable in co-op, so don't waste any rift breeds on them yet.

As MinyaZ said, either wait for BEB, or you can use a wish on it at any time. It typically costs 1,250 gems, so that might help you decide whether it’s worth wishing for or waiting and buying.

I am posting this here because I think more players will see it. To my friends that I give gems and food to I am apologizing again because my game is glitched. I cannot pick who I am giving gems and food to. The game is randomly choosing for me. The player buttons are grayed out at reset and 7 player buttons will randomly pop before next reset. It has been over a month and Deca says they are still working on it. I am losing friends over this, which is understandable. I am listing the following players because I owe them between 5 and 31 gems.
Dimpleballs, Aeramat, moonlightsun23, dlcrccj, galzin, darkboat, rusty963, Lebowski The Big, AraLovesPlants, and DustBunny73. I had to edit because I left off Wrightd143 who I owe 31 gems

I’m double checking with Deca right now. There were other changes with Lunis and Solis that were supposed to go through, but haven’t occurred yet. Also, it’s odd if they can’t be cloned. That needs to change, because it’s only going to add confusion. Perhaps Deca hasn’t completed all the updates to Lunis and Solis yet.
Everyone, I’ll let you know what Deca says about the status of Lunis and Solis and any upcoming changes.
If you want to try and breed Lunis and Solis outside of the co-op and you’re successful, let us know. If you want to wait, I should be hearing back from Deca by the morning (it’s 10.00pm their time right now).
