Deca Games has developed a series of questions to gather feedback from players regarding their new event dragons. To capture an accurate account of player’s assessments, I’ve created Rate a Dragon threads for each new event dragon. These threads will be available approximately one to four weeks after a dragon’s release to allow players some time to breed them and admire their fine qualities.
The Rate a Dragon threads will remain unlocked until the event concludes on 4 August. At the end of the event, your feedback will be passed on to Deca.
Please take a minute to rate the the Alure dragon from 1-5 for each category. You can either post your feedback on this thread, or message me. Thank you for participating, sharing your opinions, and making this game even better with each day.
🦋 All winners of The Spoiler Contest will have the birds, butterflies, and bees on my mini profile added to their profile for a month! 🐝
🌟 And the winner of the Forum’s new game, Name That Egg will have the falling stars added to their post background for a month! 💫
1. Hmmm...? What’s so important about this dragons animation? Only thing noticeable are that it has a second pair of wings which didn’t get used often. If it’s based on a Siren, should have at least more singing. 1.5/5
2. Way too subtle. If it’s Dark or Water, it’s barely noticeable. Like with Lazuli, light colors make it show better. 4/5 or 1/5 depending on the trait.
3. Seems okay. 4/5
4. Should be lower if the locked combo requires a dragons that’s hard to breed. 1.5/5
5. Pirates have to come over obstacles such as the curse of the siren. 5/5
6. Is it supposed to be based on a fish or something? Because if not, than I guess fits for a wavy siren and water element. 4.5/5
7. More of a meh. Looks like a watered down Lazuli. 2/5
8. Would like it better if it didn’t look too much like a watered down Lazuli.
1. Animation: 5/5 Very graceful, I really like it a lot, it adds to the dragon.
2. Rift trait: 5/5 I like how it’s subtle and doesn’t change the dragon’s color too much.
3. Size (if you don’t own Alure, please check a friend’s park): 5/5
4. Price (14,000 Doubloons): 3/5 It’s a lot considering we have two new limited dragons today. 😕
5. How well does Alure fit the theme: 5/5 I love the Sirens myth, and love that the dragon is based on it!
6. Design details: 5/5
7. How much do you like Alure: 5/5
8. Comments/feedback for Deca (optional): Thanks to adlerist pointing out the Siren connection I might have missed it because Alure doesn’t look anything like how I picture the Sirens. But I like DECA’s take on the mythological creature and giving it a new look.
1. The animation is great! 5/5 2, The rift trait is very good. Kinda reminds me of Mylio’s placement 5/5 3. Size is good. 5/5 4. The price legitimately stinks. Seriously, this event has too many expensive dragons for the limiteds to also be expensive. It’s even worse now since 2 limiteds were released at once. 1/5 5. Sirens are a good fit for a pirate themed event! 5/5 6. The design’s great, and reminds me of both Atramento and Mylio, two dragons which I feel have solid designs. 5/5 7. It’s not my most favorite, but it is very nice. 4/5 8. Most things about Alure good, but like most other limiteds, it’s way too expensive in an already expensive event. Overall, decent dragon, not so good event.

1. Animation: 5/5 2. Rift trait: 4/5, nice and subtle, maybe a bit too subtle 3. Size: 3/5. It's based on a siren so it doesn't need to be big, but in my opinion, skinny detailed dragons don't look that good when they're small. 4. Price: 2/5 5. Theming: 3/5. Sirens are an okay fit for a pirate event, but Alure's appearance doesn't make it look like it comes from a pirate event. I feel like if it had actual shiny treasure on its body, it'd fit the theming better. 6. Design details: 4/5, nice and detailed, but maybe not detailed in the right way 7. How much I like Alure: 2/5 8. Like Lazuli, it doesn't really match a treasure habitat that well. Unlike lazuli though, it looks even less like a treasure dragon. Alure honestly looks more like a dream dragon, especially with how it's described as a dream and a nightmare in its description.

1. Animation is pretty decent- lots of swimming and roaring and singing. Not bad! 4/5
2. Trait placement is so subtle- but that's how I prefer it. 4/5
3. Seems like DECA learned from Lazuli's smaller size- Alure's size doesn't bother me. 5/5
4. A bit pricey, but that's to be expected. 4/5
5. It's a siren! Fits the theme pretty well, although I do think it could have worked for an "Olympus" theme from the sirens in Greek Mythology. 4/5
6. Something about the hands seems off to me; I can't pinpoint exactly what the problem is. Other than that, this dragon makes excellent use of the color purple and actually feels like a dragon! 4/5
7. This is one of my favorite dragons from the event, from the color to the siren reference to the draconic features to the lore included in the description. What more could possibly be needed? 5/5
8. All-in-all, this dragon seems like a step up from most of the other designs from the event. It feels like a wild, mystical creature and really fits the concept of "dragon." Well done, DECA.

Alure 1. 5/5 Rhythmically floating through the sky as it would through the seas. Gorgeous. This one doesn’t need a barrel! 2. 5/5 Subtle as everyone has said but works when the original colour is so shimmeringly beautiful anyway. 3. 5/5 Perfectly sized. 4. 3/5 Ouch! 5. 5/5 Siren of the sea, Alure lures in the pirates & I think we know who’s responsible for those shipwrecks. 6. 5/5 Mesmerising. You can hear its sweet, soulful song in the hypnotic rings it breathes out. Those pirates don’t stand a chance. 7. 5/5 💯
Alure Please rate on a scale of 1 to 5. 1 = worst, 5 = best. 1. 5 (animation quality) 2. 5 I can copy from Lazuli here: This rift placement has been done beautifully, very elegant. (rift trait placement and look) 3. 3.5 Too small compared to the older treasure dragons. Would be perfect if other old treasure could be downsized, because I do think gold, silver etc are too big. (size) 4. 5 (price) 5. 5 (fit with event theme) 6. 5 (attention to detail design) 7. 5 (how much do you like) 8. Deca did a great job on this one. It is indeed very alluring. This one does float quite far away from it’s habitat, like Lazuli. I feel like it should be closer to the habitat.. the sirens of the sea don’t go out hunting for men, they lure them towards their lair. (opt. additional feedback)
2. If it means that Earth trait doesn't look half as bad, the subtlety could be a good thing. 3/5
3. Fine. 5/5
4. Pricey and hard to get. 1/5 not a fan.
5. I always saw sirens as Greek monsters, not pirate-era sea beasties. Good enough though. 3/5
6. It sure is a dragon, that's for sure. It's not too distinctive or recognizable to me though. Maybe it's because the silhouette's been done before, but also it doesn't have any real "defining traits" and also kinda resembles Orchid to me. 3/5
7. Eh. An overall unimpactful design. 2/5
8. I get that pirates like treasure but why must everything be treasure type? I see no reason to make it one, and I also see no reason to make it need Djinni to breed.
1.) Animation: 5 (Good animation. It is very fluid and organic. I like how the wings pop out.)
2.) Rift Trait: 3 (I don't like rift traits that cover entire bodies, but I also think this covers too little, or is barely noticeable.)
3.) Size: 4 (For the elements the dragon is, its almost the right size, maybe just .13x larger and it would be better.)
4.) Price: 3
(I have mixed feelings on this. It takes two weeks to get 14k Doubloons if you get at least 1000 each day. The dragon was only available for one week. However, it was also breedable. I love that they are breedable while they are available and that buying it can be a fallback if you really want it.)
5.) Theme Representation: 4 (It is very aquatic looking in nature, however, I don't see an extreme resemblance to something pirate or treasure related.)
6.) Design Details: 5 (I think its complexity of design is juuuust right. Not overly textured, and it isn't under-detailed.)
7.) Likeability: 2
(This dragon just isn't my cup of tea, but that doesn't mean its a bad dragon. )
8.) Great dragon overall, no major complaints.
'... overwhelming goodwill, and witty humour, profound grace and compassion blended with the spice of relentless taunts.'
