Deca Games has developed a series of questions to gather feedback from players regarding their new event dragons. To capture an accurate account of our player’s assessments, I’ve created Rate a Dragon threads for each new event dragon. These threads will be available approximately one to four weeks after a dragon’s release to allow players some time to breed them and admire their fine qualities.
The Rate a Dragon threads will remain unlocked until the event concludes on 4 August. At the end of the event, your feedback will be passed on to Deca.
Awards for the Rate a Dragon threads will be added to your profile by 4 August.

1. Animation is top notch. Fits its pirate personality and motif. 5/5

3. It's supposed to a be a Captain. Makes sense. Certified fact: Ahoy should have been smaller. 4.5/5
4. If you're going to do a double release in the last week yet again, the lower the prize. 1/5
5. Can't have a pirate event without the captain. I do wish a Moby Dick-based Dragon existed.

7. Yeah... I don't really like it. This dragon's one step closer to being a Dragon City Dragon. At least's not actually wearing clothes, but it still gives off Dragon City vibes. 1/5
8. Really came to conclude that maybe a pirate-themed event isn't well-suited for DragonVale after all.

4. Too expensive- I get that it's a limited epic, but please consider making the last epics a bit cheaper- maybe only increase the price by 250 per week instead of 500? 3/5

7. Sorry, but I absolutely hate this dragon. It acts like a human in its animations, looks more human-like than I would like, appears to wear clothes (I do like that they're not actually clothes, but it's not very noticeable until you look really close). Why DECA would choose to implement this dragon is beyond me; the sad thing is that, with a slightly different concept that explained how the dragon could live in the wild, this dragon could be so much more. The execution is great; the concept is awful. I do like the lore in the description, but I just wish it were a different kind of lore- can this dragon really, truly be a wild animal? I don't think that DECA was able to convey that part of the design, and that really saddens me because it could have been such a great dragon. 1/5
8. I already outlined my thoughts above, but please stop making dragons that it cannot be easily explained why they have the adaptations they have- this dragon really couldn't be imagined to be found in the wild and then adapted to human/wizard use. It acts too much like a human and looks too much like it's not a wild animal.

Animation-3 like the boot barrel thing Rift place-3 Size-4 not too big, but big enough Price-2. 15k is my limit Theme-5 Details-4 Like-3.5 not liking the egg/pedestal but think the dragon overall is good

8. Comments/feedback: looking humanoid doesn't bother me, the only ones I don't like are the blobby bloated ones, like epoch and lunar eclipse, which Deca has avoided

Yarr is too reminiscent of Dragon City’s Pirate Dragon (and Deca definitely doesn’t want to go there!). Both dragons even share the same blue skin and red clothing. The barrel is already used extremely well with Ikatako, so it’s a bit redundant.
