Q: is the max amount of pine cones limited to 500 or so per day? I do not cash any making a second collection in habitats. We used to be able to collect 1000 per day….
You can collect a daily maximum of 500 Pinecones from the habitats on regular days and 1,000 on double days.

Geez, looks like Deca Games forgot to pack bug spray, and now everyone's tents are full of bugs! The duplicate Storage Tower, the sudden jump in levels, accidentally revealing their dragons a few hours early, forgetting to mark a bunch of dragons as available to breed in the Dragonarium... next time I'm picking the camping spot! A spot without all these icky bugs!
On a brighter note, this will be the first event where I will be a member of this community forum for the whole duration of the event! I'm excited to be a part of another corner of the DragonVale community.

Alderist, thanks as always, for putting this thread together. As someone who has plenty of “old” dragons to breed, I reference it often during each event.
Since we all have 5 more gems to gift during this event, this is a reminder for The Last Call competition. It kicks off next Friday when the first limited is rehearsed.
This is gonna' be a looong event... Three game reloads and finally resorting to path edit mode before I found the last wandering person... and it wasn't the last one. -_- lol
It seems all dragons with element + element +... as parents are available except Combustion
Someone (cesspit?) posted that they got Aperture and Burrow in the Rift. Since adlerist posted that these dragons are not breedeable during the event, how is this even possible? Can someone please explain this?
Last night they were briefly available for breeding. As I hadn't done my rift breeds for the day, I burned through with Fire + Earth and got Burrowing then tried Cold + Water to get Aperture. Wasn't able to clone either in the rift today, so maybe they can't be rifted for now.

Coldcoil = Icy Torrent Ingis = Blazing Gale Frons = Iron Blossom Apex = Mountain Sun Atramento = Hidden Bolt
Scout = not a House dragon, but if you’re cloning it use Valor. Valor is in the breeding combo so you’ll get the clone and breeding %.

I actually have quite a few to try for this time, so I'm glad to see that they're available for breeding again.
Last year I was still struggling with my old tablet, so half the time I couldn't get into my park to breed or collect currency. I want Apex, Coldcoil and Whimsical. So I'll be working on getting those while trying for new things as well.

What did you know?! My rift drought finally ended within my last 10,000 rift breed! After all the torture Victory pulled me through and all the secondary struggles with Stoneshell and Hypnotic. (Safety tip: Don't try this outside BEB. Just use Stoneshell with any matching element.)
PSA: There’s a couple in-game discrepancies that have been brought to Deca’s attention:
1. According to the event’s Info section, the event ends on 13 September, but the Participation Station (daily event calendar) is 41 days long.
2. Atramento, Scout, Coldcoil, Apex, Ignis, Frons, Nightbloom, and Combustion are marked as unavailable. So do not breed them yet!
Increase in Gem Gifts
You can only gift 12 gems during the event. It appears there was a miscommunication, so the announcement that went out yesterday implied this was a permanent upgrade. The Game Reps have asked Deca to consider this as a permanent feature.
There has always been a device limit of 21 gems (a device cannot gift more than 21 gems per day). That limit was NOT raised. So if you have multiple accounts on your device, keep this in mind. Deca is looking into raising the device limit.
Since Nogard represents Blazing Gale, his Prismatic Pantheon setting should be NONE + VISITORS + AIR + FIRE. Instead, his Pantheon settings are NONE + VISITORS + EARTH + LIGHT (just like Kaleni).

adlerist please let DECA know that we appreciate the daily gifts ending a couple days before the event ends instead of after the event ends, there are only 38 instead of 41. Please also let them know that without some other means to earn pinecones ( no eggy hatchy, no RBC, no bingo boards, and reduced things to find) the prices for dragons and decorations should have been adjusted lower or remained the same. Increasing to 3000 event currency instead of 1500 (or 1000, I’m not sure) is not cool, and last years camping dragons being similar price to new release dragons is also IMH not cool. I realize they need to make money, but all of these things together, on top of endless events and no BEB, so no way to catchup for new or old players, is going to drive people away because it’s just not possible.
