Please rate on a scale of 1 to 5. 1 = worst, 5 = best. 1. 4 I like the animation it has, it’s well done. However, I would have expected it to do more of a digging action rather than walking in and out of cave. (animation quality) 2. 4 Fits in okay with Firefly and Fireflight in fire habitat, but just a bit too large maybe. (size) 3. 3.5 (price) 4. 2 I don’t really get the link with event theme. (fit with event theme) 5. 5 The pattern on the wings!! (attention to detail design) 6. 3.5 (how much do you like)

Happy anniversary, everyone! Since I don't have time to celebrate with art, I'll instead participate in the festivities by doing some Rate a Dragon posts!
Let's get started!
1. Rate Burrow’s animation quality:4/5
For the most part, the Burrow dragon has pretty nice animations. It moves like an insect, which makes sense given its body structure. I like how its antennae occasionally light on fire to serve as a makeshift headlamp for the dragon. Not only does this trait benefit the dragon in the wild, but it also helps tie it into its Fire element.
However, there is one animation that could have used some work: the tunnel dive animation. The animation itself is fine in terms of quality, and it ties into the Burrow dragon’s theme and behavior nicely. However, in terms of execution, this is where I have issues with it. It makes no sense for this animation to be a flying-based one. The underground tunnel popping out of nowhere in the air is awkward, and it doesn’t make any sense. I know that DragonVale is a fantasy world, but that doesn’t mean you can ignore basic physics! Additionally, this animation is not contained in the Dragonarium info box whatsoever, so the only way to properly witness it is in a habitat. I would keep these sorts of things in mind for future dragons with props.
2. Rate Burrow’s size:5/5
As per my rating for the Aperture dragon, there’s no complaints for the Burrow dragon’s size either! It’s perfect as is.
3. Rate Burrow’s price (10,500 Pinecones):1/5
I don’t have much else to say that I didn't already cover in my rating for the Aperture dragon, so I’ll keep this short: this is an awful price for a soon-to-be-permanent dragon that will be easy to breed without meaning to. I know it’s new, but that’s not a justifiable excuse in this case.
4. How well does Burrow fit the theme of the event?:4/5
While bugs are not necessarily tied to camping, I think the Burrow dragon’s inclusion in this event is fitting. It’s a giant ant-like dragon, and you know how it is with ants and camping. I did have to dock a point off in this category for the dragon not being made for a camping event, but it fits in a bit better than the Aperture dragon does.
5. Rate the attention to detail in Burrow's design:5/5
I wasn’t sure how the Burrow dragon was a Fire-Earth dragon at first when it was first released a few hours earlier than intended, but after watching it in action, I was pleasantly surprised. It’s a fire ant dragon! That alone automatically places it in the Fire element, but there’s more to it than that. The fiery antennae are a nice touch, and the underside of the dragon has a bright color that reminds me of magma. The Burrow dragon also fits the Earth element as well. After all, its in the name: Burrow. The top half of the body has the dark, crust-like color of the earth as well. I think Deca Games did a good job with this dragon’s design!
6. How much do you like Burrow?:4/5
When I rate dragons here on the forums, I try not to let too much of my personal biases affect my rating. I like to look at dragons from a slightly more neutral standpoint. That being said, I don’t really care for most of the insect dragons, and this unfortunately means I have to take a point away from the Burrow dragon. However, I think the Burrow dragon is definitely one of the better insect dragons in DragonVale. It’s certainly a step up from the Malefice dragon, that’s for sure. I appreciate how the Burrow dragon fits its elements in terms of both visuals and overall theme, and no matter my personal biases, I always appreciate good dragon design. Also, I think the Burrow dragon’s design is a lot nicer than the Burrowing dragon fan design it’s based off of.
7. Additional feedback and comments
I have to keep these shorter than I’d like to because of how many dragons I have to rate in such a short time, but once again, thank you for making the Aperture and Burrow dragons’ eggs match the rest of the “golden hybrid” dragons! Also, congratulations to the original artist behind the Burrowing dragon fan design!
Aaand done. That leaves... 5 dragons left, I believe?

I absolutely love the glow of the Burrowing Dragon in Ray | SaladCupcake’s original drawing. But I understand how that might have been difficult to recreate. Fire ants are a perfect addition to a camping event. I also like how Burrow collects Etherium — cannot wait to breed this dragon in the Rift!
