1. Animation 5/5 Thanks again for the extra video of animation adlerist . I love it!
2. Size (if you don’t own Zipzap, please check a friend’s park) 5/5
3. Price (10,750 Pinecones) 5/5
4. How well does Zipzap fit the theme 3/5 I don’t really see how he fits with a camping theme or the outdoors
5. Design details 5/5 SO MUCH DETAIL!!
6. How much do you like Zipzap (1 = I hate it, 5 = I love it!) 5/5 I love Zipper!
7. Comments/feedback for Deca (optional) Zipzap reminds of a BFS design and animation. He’s really adorable and I love the dragon a lot even if he doesn’t fit the camping theme like the other dragons. It feels like DECA threw Zipzap in b/c they didn’t have enough time to create another one and this one was already done, like Enfis with the last event.
2. Size (if you don’t own Zipzap, please check a friend’s park): 5
3. Price (10,750 Pinecones): 5
4. How well does Zipzap fit the theme: 3.5
It would be nice to have an electrical source like Zipzap when you go camping, so you can plug in your tv, computer, and phone, but I’m not sure that would be in the spirit of camping.

Zipzap’s animation is so clever from the discharging tail to the electric shock it gives itself! And his expression of pure relaxation with the electric massage is hysterical. The animation gives this dragon so much personality, I love Zipzap!

I know it's a little bit later than the 15th, but I gotta keep going with my Rate a Dragon posts!
Time to zap into this post!
1. Rate Zipzap’s animation quality:5/5
Well color me impressed! The animation team did an extraordinary job with the Zipzap dragon! The way its back bulbs flash in various patterns--and the fact that they appear to be individually animated--is incredible! I also love the various particle effects, such as the pulsing electricity when the dragon plants its tail into the ground. This is one of the best examples of well-animated dragons to date.
2. Rate Zipzap’s size:5/5
It’s big enough to where you can see all of the fun details, but not overwhelmingly large! Perfect size, perfect dragon.
3. Rate Zizap’s price (10,750 Pinecones):3/5
Eh, I think the Zipzap dragon’s price—as well as those of the Aperture and Burrow dragons—would have been better if they were lowered. However, unlike the other members of the event debuting trio, the Zipzap dragon isn’t going to be made permanent after the event, so it has more ground to stand on price-wise. It’s also a new event dragon, so of course, it’s going to be one of the more expensive dragons.
4. How well does Zipzap fit the theme of the event?:1/5
Unfortunately, the Zipzap dragon fits the least in the event out of all of the dragons introduced in Into the Wild. I don’t see how it correlates to camping whatsoever, and I can’t even grasp at any straws like I did for Aperture. While it’s a wonderful dragon, perhaps it should’ve been saved for later. Perhaps it could’ve been a Halloween Franken-dragon? Its description would imply such.
5. Rate the attention to detail in Zipzap's design:5/5
The Zipzap dragon’s design is quite aesthetically pleasing! The colors mesh together well, and the overall body structure of the dragon flows nicely. I like how the eyes and hair glow with the bulbs on its back. I also like how the tail is shaped in a way where the dragon can channel power from a single bulb by grabbing it with said tail, or alternatively, it can stick its tail into the ground like a lightning rod. Overall, a very nice design.
6. How much do you like Zipzap?:5/5
The animations for the Zipzap dragon blew me away when I first saw them. I couldn’t help but stare at it! I suppose all that staring made me really enjoy the Zipzap dragon. It’s an example of how far Deca Games has come with their dragons. It also just looks cool, and cool dragons are cool. Are you cool with that? Cool.
7. Additional feedback and comments
I know I keep bringing it up, but the animation team went above and beyond for this dragon. A lot of the more recent dragons have had pretty good animations, but the Zipzap dragon takes it to a whole other level, and it doesn’t even use any additional props! I can only imagine what the future holds in store.
That's all the time I have for Zipzap. Time to move on.
