Is there anywhere to find what the Twilight Tower and Weather Station settings should be for this event? I want the spoops and the right music. And thank you for all the amazing graphics and information!
I am using Grim and Ghosts. My game did not change this event start up. It was playing Party music so I changed myself.
adlerist , the bluebird is not gone. It changed into a blackbird with red glowing eyes. It is in the same place in front of the tent in the upper left.
Side note: Is there anyway to earn the bluebird on the forum? My sister flew in for a funeral and I missed rating the camping dragons.
I logged in right on time and found everything ok with the new reset time. Only problem is the Colosseum, still on the old reset time. Else : same old chasing, same games etc. I feel a certain fatigue. Maybe 10 years is enough. Maybe it is time to do other things, like switching on the Tv which has been sleeping since over a year lol.
The Colosseum is on its own independent timer, based on when you last completed it. So it won’t reset with the game.
I can’t imagine TV has anything better to offer than DV.
As I’m currently trying to complete my dragon collection (completely untraited) within the next year, I have planned out explicitly which dragons I’ll need to breed and when for each prospective event. Assuming Bring ‘em Back is on the table for some time in the next year this goal should be completely possible (aside from maybe the evolution dragons).
I thought I might provide my progress on an occasional basis for those interested as I strive to complete my collection.
Co-op cave: Flower + Funis (possible new dragon of Funis) Enchanted cave: Lycan + Decay (possible new dragons of Dracabra, Nesting, and Eldritch) Epic sanctuary: Nightbloom + Charlatan (possible new dragons of Eldritch, Nesting, and Iden) Rift cave: Antumbra + Voltaic (possible new dragon of Nox)
I’m not worrying about Rift breeding as much as I am worrying about Vale breeding, but I’ll still use the Rift because I can clone traited dragons to get untraited dragons. I’ll keep updating this as I breed new dragons if not on a day-by-day cycle. Thanks for the support!

This is a great plan! I also have a goal to get as many as I can in the next year. So far, I have missed a lot of the limiteds, but I am okay with that. As long as I can get the majority in the next year I'm happy I totally think it's doable. Koala!! 🐨🐨

It definitely is doable! I was out for two years and came back just before last years camping trip. Over the past year, I’ve gotten all but 3, plus this events dragons. The hardest for me has been the evolved ones, Corrupticorn in particular.

I'm loving the new look for this event and I'm thrilled about the 10% social cloning component. It's exciting that some people have already managed to breed their first dragons, talk about being off to a great start. Love the deco and the selection of dragons available. I appreciate the upgrade by two of the spooky habitats, any change they might just let loose and bump it to 10? We sure could use the space. I think this is going to be a terrific event and I'm looking forward to getting immersed in it.
Deca-thank you for all the small changes you've made that make the game so much nicer. Since they're small, maybe you haven't heard much feedback so I'd like to say thank you for the following: increasing the chest rewards for quests, for increasing the payout for the flag bearers from $20,000 to $100,000, for dropping the cost to use Ts'aishen to collect revenue, thank you for increasing the total number of habitats and upgrading the experience level, thank you for creating interesting new dragons many of which have a decent pay rate, and thank you for creating new interesting themes for our islands so we can switch it up when we want to (any chance you might create a theme for the really ugly gargantuan island?). I'm sure there are many other positive changes you've made but those are the ones that most easily come to mind. Keep up the good work!
Adlerist-please do continue to pursue getting guaranteed gold chests for purchase and the ability to sell dups for event currency, I think that'll make a lot of people happy without Deca having to do any major overhaul. Also, we used to get event currency if our dragon was chosen by a neighbor for the event ring challenge, any chance on bringing that back? Thank you for all your (and all the other moderators) hard work making this the absolute best group on the internet for Dragonvale.

Will it always cost gems to evolve ghostlies? For some reason I thought it would be event currency...
It is usually currency during the Halloween event. DECA will probably change after they are reminded. I also expected all of the ghostlies to be available. I guess the ghosts of Christmas again?!?

Ok now, I’m not liking this new reset time. Right around 9:30 or 10am I sit down with my coffee and hatch babies, collect from habitats and play the mini games again. My old reset time was 11am, so I really counted on this morning after activity.
I just opened my vale and it’s already today! This is going to take some getting used to. 🙃

Yay. While gambling and begging for Eldritch pieces, I got an Effigy of the Leaf. Now if only it doesn’t cost gems in order to evolve my other Plant Dragon.
Also, I checked the daily login rewards and this time the final day shows a silhouette of a chest rather than a bunch of eggs. Have they stopped with the free dragon in the end?
That would suck since the Halloween Dragons are extremely ridiculous to get. Especially the later ones.
I really want to know the percentage of getting Eldritch pieces from chests. Like really low? I only got two so far.
