One little detail…perhaps you meant to say the location of the new islands was in the upper left corner of the vale instead of the right? That’s where islands 34 and 35 are.
I was surprised by the location of the Monumental island. It sure seemed like the obvious place for it was just to the right of the other big islands. Oh well, I guess DECA has other things in mind!

Deca did try to place the Monumental Island in its proper spot, to the right of the Overgrown Island, but they ran into a spacing issue. Hopefully, this can be addressed in the future. I don’t know the details of the problem.
The placement of monumental is an abomination lol. Hopefully they can fix it at some point!

Wow! 3 New Islands… GREAT!… and I had enough DC & Gems to buy all 3! But how can those of us who’ve reached the Habitat Limit get them without spending even more Gems to fill up these new islands? With these new Islands, DECA needs to increase their Habitat Limit. 🙏🙏🙏

Hopefully, the next EE will have new park levels since that’s the only way to unlock more habitat slots (outside of buying them for gems). A lot of habitats don’t count against the limit. You may want to purchase them when they’re in events.

Islands 37 and 38 are ordered! Dragon Cash halved..
Am busy selling the rainy day fund (read: stash of Nightmare pedestals) that I had from before my break.. who knows, I might be in the market for 35 and 36.. Or maybe just one addition on the right, 39 or 40 perhaps.. for the new spookies to chill near my old spooky island.
Nightmare pedestal selling makes me reminisce about the good old days when I had EC to spare in events. But these last 2 events actually ended up being fun playing catch up on dragons in stead of Nightmare pedestal shopping.
Excited ramble over. I wish everyone koala during the extravaganza, may your DC flow be good and may happy island hunting.
Question: exactly how overgrown is the Overgrown island? Is it worth it to use a wish now so I can clear without cost?
The Overgrown Island is totally worth a wish. It’s identical to the Gargantuan Island, except it has foliage on the exterior. Similar to the other gargantuan-sized islands, there is nothing to clear on the island, and it doesn’t have a summoning time.
If you need more cash, you can always exchange 50 gems for a generous amount of DC using Trade. See this post under Tips for more details.

PSA: Kairos Klepsydra has been delivered to your Gifts
Some players did not receive the Kairos Klepsydra decoration yesterday. Deca resolved the issue by sending everybody a total of five Kairos Klepsydra decos. There is a limit of five that can be in your park. So, if you already have three displayed, you received two in your Gifts. If you had a Kairos Klepsydra deco in your Gifts, it did count towards the limit of five, and you won’t be able to place the extra deco. Sell a Kairos Klepsydra in your park, and then you can claim the decoration from your Gifts.
Also, for clarification, each present in your park respawns 12 hours after you’ve found it. So be sure to locate all of them within the first 12 hours of the daily reset if you want to collect the presents twice a day. Please see the Expansion Extravaganza announcement post for more information on the presents.

I love the ironic-ity of this description. "a marvel of unparallelled creativity" when in functionality and appearance, is literally just a copy/paste of the Gargantuan and Colossal Islands.
Over the long-term, I consider converting mine into a gemstone farm, but with that said the gemstone habitats start sharply increasing in price after about the tenth habitat, so I may end up deciding on something else.
I also hope fixes to the island spacing can be done so it can be placed in its proper spot - my ocd is going crazy with it being so far away.
