Yes, I just remembered this and came here to update my post. Deca changed the Om of Noms evolve decorations to permanent last year. So Karroot’s evolve planter was definitely (and is still) available.
I believe that’s what you’re referring to, but if not, let me know which decorations, and I’ll check.
did not know this! need to evo karoot when i get curly leaf glad i can do any time.
i like dragon week but dont like party & aurora. they always in game. i feel same as everyone bring dragons back that are no breed in event like wolper & davinese. dont do dragon week w event but if u need to do dragon week w event dont bring back dragons like party aurora & motley. its annoying.
I did not see them BUT I am missing a lot of decos so I may well have missed them! Did anyone else see them?
I’ve received confirmation from the Discord rep that the evolve decorations for Aubergine, Burglehoo, and Glyph were in the Market for 50 gems each. He wasn’t sure about Karroot.
Karroot’s only decoration is the Meta-carotene planter, and I recall that costs DC, so in all likelihood it was also in the Market.
That’s a relieved, I’m very glad all the decos were available. Thanks for adding them, Deca Games!
EDIT: last year, Deca changed the Om of Nom evolve decorations to permanent. So that confirms Karroot’s Meta-carotene planter was in the Market.

We just had a break during the 10th anniversary and there wasn’t anything to breed except Tien for the whole week because DECA removed the other anniversary dragons. It would’ve been the PERFECT time to have Dragons Week. Also lots of people felt let down by the lack of celebration and activities for the 10th anniversary because the announcement made it sound like it was going to be a big deal, or a bigger deal than it turned out to be. If Dragons Week started on the anniversary that would’ve made it more special, like all the dragons came back for the anniversary party.
The timing for Dragons Week was way off. Why wait and do it two weeks later during an event? If you need to have players vote on dragons, do it earlier so during the break between events you can release the dragons.
I’m a little disappointed I didn’t get to vote on any dragons, a lot of people didn’t. Since there are Game Representatives in every DV group/community, have them ask what dragons their players want to see available, then the dragons with the most votes get released. Another idea is to use the survey in the game, the Poll Plaza I think it’s called, then everyone gets to vote.
I agree with everyone else that Aurora and Party should not have been released. They are too easy to breed and their breeding time is too long. It prevented people from getting Heavy Metal.
I think it would be really amazing if DECA gave us the chance to vote for the dragons we DON’T want released. Dragons that are usually part of an event like Party, or have special release dates like Motley, we can vote to have them not come back. The dragons will still be in the game at least once a year because of its event or special release. This will prevent these “really easy to breed long fails” from being in the game too frequently, and it’ll prevent all the complaints about them.
Sorry this is so long. I think DV players have so many good ideas, these are just some of my opinions and suggestions, but I’m sure other players have better ones. I’m just very thankful there is this opportunity to express what we’d like to see in the game. 🥰

It isn't a good idea to have something like this during an event. The majority of people are going to be trying for new event dragons. How can players breed everything they want when there are new limited dragons, returning old dragons and event dragons all at once? It makes getting anything you want very difficult, slowing your progress and clogging breeding caves with a huge variety of fails.
We don't need two events happening at once. We want BEB/Dragons Week but please, think of the players and adjust the timing so the events don't overlap.

The 10th Anniversary fell flat. It’s TEN YEARS! Not many mobile games make it that far. I know DECA has only had DV for a year, but 10 years is HUGE! Having Dragons Week and other contest and activities that were promised would’ve made it more interesting.
I really like the idea of voting for dragons that don’t come back! Aurora and Party will always win lol, but it’d be interesting to see what other dragons make the list. Like if it’s BEB and we get to eliminate 50 or more dragons of the 350 limited dragons that could possibly return. It would be a cool twist on BEB or Dragons Week or whatever.

Nobody knows if Dragons’ Week will continue or not, if it’ll have the same voting format (or select Dragonarium collections will return instead), if it’ll be a week long, how many dragons will be in it, or if it’ll even be called Dragons’ Week. It all depends on the performance of this Dragons’ Week, and if it met Deca’s expectations.

I like the idea of returning Dragonarium collections because that would be easier to keep track, MinyaZ mentioned this too. It would be like the Collection Comeback mini events from a long time ago.
If you didn’t post the list of dragons to breed it would’ve been difficult to figure out which dragons were back and if we needed them. Using the Dragonarium collections would be better.
I have an idea that I’m sure you guys already suggested and maybe other players have too. Create a new section of the Dragonaium for Released Dragons. When we look under Released Dragons it shows all the dragons that are breedable right now. It would be useful all the time, during events, and if they did another Dragons Week. Then we can quickly see which dragons we need or if we need it traited or twinned.
I also agree with amos and others that the dragons from previous events that weren’t breedable should’ve been in Dragons Week or at least some of them. I think Neyvee was the only one that was released. It doesn’t help players who need Rift versions if the dragons are never breedable.
The Cherry Blossom Tree received a major upgrade on Friday!
Last week, the DragonVale FB folks requested a reduction in the Cherry Blossom Tree‘s enormous footprint.

Ha, no wonder! I was just trying to move the cherry blossom tree this morning, and thought to myself, “ hmmm… am I becoming senile? I thought it was way bigger…” 🙄🤔🧐
If you are going release Dragon Week as a normal thing during an event, try releasing them in an event with Runic Cave next time. Donation Boards don’t synergize with this mini-BEB at all. I got a donation board with a Combustion during that time. Pass.
I finally was able to breed another Chromacorn dragon, to finally be able to evolve it to a Corrupticorn, ‘cause I finally got all the Fires of Corruption! 😅 FINALLY! 🤗😆
Now I have all the dragons, at least one of each, with the exception of that last Ghostly. Ghostly Spirit is truly an apparition that does not want to appear in my park!
Weird thing, even though I’m still lacking one dragon to have them all, my Dragonarium is breathing fire! 🔥😳. Do the Ghostly’s not count? Since they are….well, ghosts?

I finally was able to breed another Chromacorn dragon, to finally be able to evolve it to a Corrupticorn, ‘cause I finally got all the Fires of Corruption! 😅 FINALLY! 🤗😆
Now I have all the dragons, at least one of each, with the exception of that last Ghostly. Ghostly Spirit is truly an apparition that does not want to appear in my park!
Weird thing, even though I’m still lacking one dragon to have them all, my Dragonarium is breathing fire! 🔥😳. Do the Ghostly’s not count? Since they are….well, ghosts?

That’s correct. Ghostlies are not required for red fire. After they were released, many players disliked Ghostly dragons so much they refused to collect them. As a result, Backflip exempted Ghostlies from red fire.

I already submitted the feedback for Dragons’ Week, but rest assured, I’ve informed Deca many times that BEB works extremely well, even better, with the RBCs. In that regard, the RBCs are very unique, as no other event mechanism has this distinction.

Come visit (we are friends) and you will see what is meant by ghostly fire 👻. Not only is the dragon breathing fire it also sends out little ghosts to show you have all the ghostly dragons. Congrats on getting red 🔥.

Just when I thought it was going to evade me the whole time, I finally bred a Ghostly Tree!
No more Ghostlies. Thank lord. My luck has been way horrible within this events besides the Melody Dragons and Kwall. Dragons Week stole it from me, apparently.
(My Daily Rare Mystery Egg is today and it turned out to be a Ketu.)
