I much prefer the green palette from Mcpcreations’ Razorthorn dragon. The critical plant element now seems to be missing with all the brown.

Whoever is drawing the loading screen image for the events, please give them a raise. Their artwork is absolutely stunning. The dragons are so vibrant and thrilling that when the actual dragons are released, they can’t quite measure up.

Razortail’s armour is detailed and prominent on the loading screen. It’s unique and wildly creative; the dragon looks terrifying and alluring all at once. I don’t know if Deca can make their dragons more like these images, but my God if you can, we’d all be floored.

I like the Mcpcreations drawing better with the long claws and fuzzy undercoat of Razorthorn, but DECA really followed the design closely so I can’t complain too much.

6. How much do you like Razortail (1 = I hate it, 5 = I love it!): 4/5  I like Mcpcreations’s Razorthorn a lot more. I like the color with the green and the red tips to contrast, and I love the tail! But DECA has some great additions like the armor, that is really cool!


7. Comments/feedback for Deca (optional): I agree with what adlerist said, I’ve also noticed that the dragons on the event loading screen are always more spectacular than they end up being. It’s been like this for quite a few events. I don’t think the loading screen art should change, the dragons should be more like the loading screen. Since there’s no break between events there’s probably not enough time to make all the event dragons this great, but DECA has made plenty of amazing dragons so we know it’s possible.

RAZORTAIL DRAGON


1. Animation - 1/5 - very disappointing…nothing going on here. Could have had him slicing (razor-like) through a wheat field or something else equally creative. Movement of tail is like a scorpion but otherwise he does not seem scorpion-like. Could have done great things here like they did w/aperture & ahoy & chuck and many others. Got lazy here.

2. Size (if you don’t own Razortail, please check a friend’s park) - 5/5 - blends well w/ others in his habitat

3. Price (9,500 Spice) - 3/5 - pricey

4. How well does Razortail fit the theme - 5/5 - fits well; would have fit perfectly if he was slicing thru fields etc.

5. Design details - 3/5 - like the green mouth (makes him more colorful). Like the armor and head & body spikes.

6. How much do you like Razortail (1 = I hate it, 5 = I love it!) - 3/5 - looks okay. Nothing special since he does nothing w/his razor tails

7. Comments/feedback for Deca (optional)- feel this guy got let down because of blah animation. Don’t like him putting the tail in mouth, yuck. Beautiful design w/ armor & spikes & thorns. He didn’t get finished.
